Easy to get around. Just tell them that you're locals and they will remove the tax. Everywhere outside of the Casino Hotel - it's not an official tax and you don't have to pay it.

I'd never do the Edge walk but I'd like to see the harness jerk out a few inches at an undetermined time intervals to really give them a jolt!

I Have done one in UK, fastest in Europe i think it said, way better, much more fun and half the price, plus second go was 50% off first price

@@NigelHay Lets be honest, everything is a ripoff these days. Look at the pictures of the food compared to what you get at most fast food places.

Whirlpool jet boat is brilliant, I did that 7 years ago and had a blast

I worked at Whirlpool Jet Boats for 4 years about 25 years ago. It was during my time there that videos started being made on V.H.S. I would shoot the video, and while everyone was getting changed into dry clothes, I would quickly edit the (approximately 7 minute) video and and add music to it. At that time I would show the video on multiple TV sets in a designated area and encourage our customers to purchase it as a souvenir. The video was $19.99 and totally optional. This video program disappeared some time after my employment, and I'm happy to hear of it's return in some form. I'm curious about a few things. 1...was it an optional purchase for you, or put into some Crumby package deal? 2...how long was the video? 3... is it now done on D.V.D? 3...what was the price for the video? 4...was the video immediately available to you, or did you have to pay for it, then have it mailed to you?

Lol, hilarious they used to offer VHS tapes of the ride. I was just thinking last week about what a pain it was back in the day carrying around that big vhs video recorder. Now we have all that power on our little smartphones. That's amazing you could edit the video so quickly and then get it out to the customers before they left. To answer your questions, the media package was optional. I booked the ride online a couple weeks before my trip. They had the option of buying the media package at that time but I did not purchase it. After the ride was completed, I had so much fun, I decided I wanted the media package. You can buy it on the day you are there. I believe the cost was $45. It included the video, which was about 5 - 10 minutes. I'd say 1 or 2 minutes was of my actual ride and the rest was pre-shot video footage. Included in the media package were also some pictures. When you purchase the media package they give you a website address and ID code. You go to the website, enter your ID code and then download your video and photos. It was available online a short time after the ride ended. I have been going to Niagara Falls at least once a year for over 50 years. This was the first time I ever did the Jet Boat and it was awesome. Wish I would have done it sooner. If you watch my video of the ride, you'll also see a link to my flickr album of the ride. The first 7 pictures are the photos that were included in the media package.

@ThomasC-Crazy4NiagaraFalls . Wow! I appreciate your response to my comment/questions. I'm happy to hear you had a blast, but not at all surprised. I had many customers, back in the day, tell me that that wished they did the boat ride twice instead of taking the helicopter ride. And yes, working there was an absolute blast! I cannot over state that. The boss was really laid back and let us have a bunch of fun. I probably shouldn't elaborate any further lol. Well, safe travels, and happy trails my new friend 👍

I do love the falls. Best time to go is between 4 and 5 am when everyone is sleeping and then take it all in.

If they have never been on a zipline before, then they wouldn't have anything to compare it too. That was my issue, I've done a couple of ziplines and this one is so slow

Idk, I was there on August first and it was pretty packed. They have the whole GTA and whomever lives in the US to draw on. It's full of fun stuff to do and if youre there a lot to do pretty cheap.

There was a lot of dead useless video. They should be strapping a camera on you

there are better zipline rides out there, trust me, know one is taking in the view. If you want a great view, pay $32 and ride Hornblower. much better value

She went zorbing on her 70th. Did nothing for 65 years and now she's living her best years

Major scam. I did a similar length zipline in UK. It's was only about $25

That was my point, it's not over the falls. And when the media like CHCH or Cp24 come down they always say "over the falls* It's over a private road!

Plus, the zipline spoils the view of anyone wanting a great shot of the US falls

I think Canadians think they have the only zipline. I knew NZ had many. I wonder demographically what areas of the world do rider come from? Can't see many Aussies and Kiwis using it

The place is a shithole. If you drive a few streets away from Clifton hill you’ll see boarded up houses, druggies are everywhere and homeless people are all over the place. My wife likes to go there for our anniversary but I have no desire. This spring we walked by a homeless man with his underwear around his ankles with his junk hanging out, having a bottle water bath right at the top of Clifton hill. I’m done with that place

I avoid the tourist areas in the summer myself, I enjoy walking through it when it's quiet and then drive away for food and drink

26US LOL Maybe not that low, my Mum had a blast though. I'm comparing the price to other popular ziplines, many that are half the price and faster.

Niagara Falls Local here, That tower was being over run with homeless people sleeping on-top all the time
