Hi, i’m using the Maikuro ii 9ft rod in 6-8 kg i really like this rod its not too heavy. I have it paired with a Daiwa BG MQ 6000 with 20lb mono. We make our own sinkers and the one i had on was a 8oz ball sinker i’m pretty sure running straight to the hook. I had on a 3/0 Octopus Beak hook on. Did the job! 😁👍
