Lol I spent a year in Auckland and in summer everyone goes to the beach…..a pod of orcas swam by for gods sakes…..turns out it’s colder there (the water) than here (Goldie) in the middle of winter. I don’t recommend the move for you either haha
Good session ay beach fishing is my favorite well done if your after whiting and dart n flatty fish the Sandy points just away from the jetty where there's some white water dropping into the gutters peel ya prawns and use your whiting hooks also keep trying ya spinning lures you'll get Taylor HAPPY DAYS 😁✌

Good fun in the surf next to the jetty :) gutted Col lost that snapper, maybe he needed to go in waist deep haha!!! Love seeing the beautiful Gild Coast Spit on display-I'll be headed out there to chuck a slug and a few pillies in the gutters, hopefully get a tailor :) tight lines!
wow, a lot of bream nice work. 2 days ago on Saturday, I caught a 51 cm flatty on the right of the sand bypass pumping jetty at night on a pilchard. I was trying to catch a tailor but i didn't end up not catching them. The jetty is open on 20 june 2022 and 21 of june 2022.
