It's amazing how these guys are so quick to shoot themselves in the foot even when someone is clearly interested in them. They have a very specific narrative in their head that they want played out and failing to match that makes them furious.

Guys that think all girls are miserable without them, really need to check their perspective. Your main competitor is her single life, not other guys. Girls are usually pretty content to live life with their friends and their pets and their alone time.
It's probably my ignorance, but the idea of competing against someone being single has never really been something I've considered, ie. someone likes you, or they don't, end of story. Thank you for this!
The same thing goes for men though. Ultimately the solitude can become intoxicating, nobody to disagree with you, nobody to be needy or seek approval. Guys can become pretty content by themselves too. The human race is kind of doomed. lol
@@esmeecampbell7396 I can totally see that. I agree that everyone can feel content with that freedom, that lack of conflict, I know I certainly have. Relationships are stressful as hell, even when the other person is mostly decent.

I mean there's some survivorship bias here, this is obviously a reddit top posts from people who are narcissists, so saying "why are they self obsessed" is pretty self explanatory. The same thing goes for the r/nicegirls page which is just as insane (even though it doesn't have the same disturbing feeling that one of the featured will commit imminent rape and/or murder)
@esmeecampbell7396 it's not a literal question, it's figurative. when someone exhibits terrible behaviour, other people tend to be confused as to how someone could even think to act that way. I'm not really asking for a breakdown, asking "why" is just a way of expressing awe at these men's strange behaviour

just that first one about the kids I KID YOU NOT when my brother and I were little, my dad used to whine that my mum paid more attention to us and that we were more of a priority than him. my brother was developmentally delayed too he needed attention his head was too big and he needed physio and also he was speaking maybe 20 words at age 2. Would only make eye contact with my mum, also needed a leash needed did not have since he'd proberbly have a massive meltdown. YES DAD WE NEEDED MORE ATTENTION AND WERE A PRIORTY. maybe if you idk spent time with us too you wouldn't feel that way since we'd be giving you attention

It's amazing how NOT sleeping with a guy makes you a slut. Plus I used to find it hilarious that 10 seconds prior to the 'rejection' these blokes were desperate to meet up and then afterwards I'm a fat, ugly slag. So either they genuinely thought this and they just wanted to get their end away OR they're just being as hurtful as they can possibly be. Neither is a good look lol. I felt it was always the former, and they were insulted that the easy target, me, had dared to turn them down. Oh well 😂🤷♀️
