I worked in a kitchen and the two guys I worked with wouldn’t leave me alone it led to me quitting because of how uncomfortable and objectified they made me feel.

Just don't flirt in general unless you're already friends with them and have built a relationship. When you're already friends with them, you're more likely to get into a relationship with them than just flirting with random girls you hardly know.

They confuse being nice with acting a certain way. In their view acting polite or talking formally equates with being 'nice' but for everyone else it is clearly just an act that they are doing because they think they will be rewarded for it. But luckily enough for the vast majority of them that mask comes off very easily when rejected and reveals their true character which is pretty much everything except nice.

@Subjagator I mean i am no woman, but if I also had to guess, it is usually because they are also very quick to put down on others too. Like i am not saying people cannot express grievances with a partner or anything, but if you do nothing but complain about a friend, then the server, then your boss, then your coworker, and so on and so forth, you can come off as pretentious and may even be considered an early warning sign. Plus as you said, there is a mask involved and even in post covid, most dont really likes interacting with someone wearing a facade or mask(literally or figuratively). In some cases, you are almost better off taking a chance with the good looking """jerk""" because at least you, and everyone in your circle, somewhat know what you might be getting yourself into. Not to mention some of the most horrible things these guys will say after being rejected. Ive seen guys claimed he hope she gets r@p3d or gets an STD just because she was uninterested, and i knew of some personally that i had to distance myself from. There is almost an actual hatred that really needs to be settled. I know there is problems with both genders and I know people are hurt and I, as a man, even understand what some of my fellow men are feeling, but sometimes theres this rage that stays and you have to fight it, and sometimes that means finding friendships and therapy instead of a woman or man to magically fix your issues....because whoever wants you to fix you is probably not good for you.
