I was looking into getting that screen inside the case. Which one would you recommend? And can you customize your own image? If so, how? Sick build btw..
Okay I love how you put contrasting outter rgb lines on your PCI power cables. I would never have thought of that myself so I'm glad I just came across this
How are your thermals with this case? I’ve been wanting to get it for my build, but I’ve heard people have thermal issues. Especially if you vertical mount your GPU.
Seen this done before and it's better in theory. I would recommend using basement led fans instead. Gives same affect as under glow, put more efficiency and spread.
What are the fans that you use on the side since it's 3 instead of 2. Also, you mentioned about the plate for those 3 fans. I would really appreciate it if you could reply since I am planning to buy this case. Thanks for sharing btw
i have this case and i originally had installed 3 fans on the side there as well until i switched it for two 140mm fans. the only i was able to do it was with zip ties. it worked quite well actually
Power supply is calculated differently depending on build. The cables are extenders, so you still plug in your normal gpu cables, but then you run them into the lian li strimmers.
Hello just bought this strip and installed it but it doesnt turn on and my motherboard doesnt pick it up , i have the same MOBO u have and have it pluged idk wha tto do to get it to work and to turn on
The Phanteks connectors are a concern to me. Do you have any advice since I have 3 of these strips on the way for my Y60. I need to connect them to 3 pin Addr headers.
They daisy chain so you just plug one into the next. I actually purchased a splitter and ended up not using it as one came in each pack. I used the 3 shorter strips to do what you did on the bottom but was also able to continue up the side of the fans on the right and the 3rd strip goes around the fans to the left of the GPU ending perfectly where the bottom strip begins. I like what you did, but my 3 strips look better, in my opinion. Wish I was able to add a picture here.
where did you connect the strip to? motherboard or a controller? because i have mine connected to lian li unifan hub but the strip doesnt light all the way up so idk why that is happenong?
I am dealing with this same issue... only half the Strip lights up on boot up. From my research, you should connect the Phanteks M1 strip to your MB. However, I have mine connected to the lian li controller, which also runs my lian li fan/rgb. I am running SignalRGB software and have added the additional LEDs so they light up shortly after boot up.
@@makstapg yea i found a way to almost light up the whole strip with the help of lian li connect software and the 10cm part of the strip that still didnt light up i just hid behind my gpu since i have a vertical mount and u cant see behind the gpu
