I love watching this channel so good to see that a lot of effort has gone into this pool you have changed and you guys can put your hands to do anything on the job. so proud of you all.
Great video. Would have loved to see more of the liner being put in since it was such an unusual shape. Can’t believe the amount of algae in the pool!!
Lucky sods! What I’d do for a swimming pool. I’d use it everyday. When I go on holiday I get up at 6am and swim constantly for at least an hour. It’s heaven as no one is up.
I am curious about something, I didn't see any holes for a ladder, how do they get in and out? Also, I have never seen a pool like that with all the sides slanted. The new lining is pretty cool.
To be honest some type of Ladder would have been ideal but they didn’t want it. They’re a young family so they won’t struggle to get out. Yer was really weird seeing a pool like this aswell. They defo got the walls and slant measurements mixed up 😅
Love the vids brother big fan and watcher.. I'm a Plumber from the states. Couple questions; do you ever use primer for your pvc piping, and do you have to take any certification classes to work the pipes or not really. I'm sure it's years of experience truly too
Brillaint video as always.. is there any update on the small video you did on FB around 4weeks ago ish. I think you said it was the worst pool you have ever seen. It was a state but really wanted to see the transformation
Hey Pool Guy, my 6 year old daughter wants to know how you determine when you have to drain a pool entirely or when you just use flock and/or other chemicals. Thank you and keep up the good work. Holla.
Most of the the time it just depends how long it’s been left! If it only just gone green then it shouldn’t be difficult to get back with chemicals! Where as if it’s been left for years there’s likely to be a lot of sludge so would be easier to empty. Also really depends what the customer wants to do
Why not just change the multiport valve gasket as well as the valve on the backwash line prevents blowby on your filter could be the spring on the actuator is broken or not springy enough to push down and seal the gasket nice job on the liner and plumbing repair what mill are your liners? ✌️
Прикольно 👍 У меня вопрос , что за клей использовали для соединения, полипропиленовых труб, мы обычно паяем такие трубы, а тут то ли клей синий или что?
Tbh there’s different types, cheap/expensive! The ones I normally supply and fit are fairly priced! For a new filter and pump they’d probably be paying about £1000 extra
Things I wonder when I watch the occasional pool guy video: What got him into the pool business? Why does he like it? Does he enjoy making the videos? Was he surprised people like watching this?
@Katie is tired again Nahh i was just wondering because when the video went live there were 3-4 comments saying how they loved the video after only 3 minutes of it being live😅
"Plant room" = Pump house. Why no ladder or steps into the pool? You did a good job with the restoration. Shame the owner didn't want to install proper new pump equipment. You will be back to this one soon.
Speaking out of ignorance 🤭I see stms you empty and refill with new water and some others you don't even they look awful what's the difference? Thanks and congratulations for your excellent jobs never stop being responsable and careful in your job and this will be an everlasting and successful business 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️🤗🤗🤗
It surprises me the pump is still working properly the water being so high up skimmer. Would it have been better to make it a pool with overflow? Those wall are weired I've never seen then that to steep before then again being short and having perception of deep or sheer drops are I hope pools where shallow ene drops off with little or the shallow end Is really really low as that in turn causes issues. There is a public pool near me where the two ends are shallow and the middle the three floor drains are old fashion metal grates. They scare the shit of me even now.
We tend to have both on tape measures here, there’s a mix of Metric and Imperial in the building trade. I’ve heard someone say both millimetres and inches in the same sentence!
@Nicky L I just asked a simple question. It sounds like you are prejudiced against the good old USA. I use metric when it suits me. Everybody else seems to be against Imperial units, but then a lot of video's I see, that Metric is the standard, also uses Imperial units. Just an observation. 🤔
@@ryancorr7481 Cool thanks for clarifying. Just curious because yeah that seems pretty low from what I am used to seeing in the states. My house is around 67psi (~4.5 bar) and my dad has about 100psi (~7 bar) at his place.
Good work, but this is the ugliest pool in the busiest place I've ever seen. And even the most impractical placed with obstacles. For me, I'd rather have no pool than to have one like this.
