I know you must be so happy to see Pyi Mai all the way in the river. Her mother would not let her go in for along time and now they went in with her. They are so smart. They know she loves the water and Pyi Mai wanted in there so bad, she slowly goes in. I was smiling the whole time. I am so happy for there family. They seemed very happy and maybe worried too. 2:26 Pyi Mai slips then just lays there like, what are y'all looking at? I meant to do that. Little girl loves her mama but has really taken to her nanny. Pyi Mai really loves the water too! Her little "squeaks" are so darn cute! To be only 7 months old, she really has good control of her little trunk. (The dogs chasing each other was cute too. Thanks for sharing.)❤💓🐘🐘🐘🐕🐕💓🤗

It’s such a blessing whenever I find a video of Pyi Mai that I haven’t seen before. This baby stole my heart the second she arrived and hasn’t let it go. It’s been such a joy watching her and Wan Mai and now baby Chaba. Knowing that they’ll all grow up only knowing freedom is enough to make one’s heart burst. Blessings to Lek and everyone at ENP plus all the supporters. Nice to meet the caretakers. 🙏🏼

Its amazing how gingerly the nanny gets into the water. I love watching how elephants make adjustments like that. It seems that the way their hind legs are articulated like human legs, makes it easier to sit, squat and bend down when needed.

I am so happy that mum and nanny are getting on really well, I still cannot get over the difference in their sizes, they are all beautiful elephants and I love their rumbles and different calls.💗💗💗

Mahouts have such important jobs as these elephants are 100%!dependent on them. All the elephants look well fed and have veterinarian care if needed.

Sweet pyi mai

Every one is happy in the picture , proof is that the dogs are playing like children and the atmosphere is it made by elephants (all ) and is surveyed by this powerful women .She is something and somebody in the meantime

After Pyi Mai walked up to the dogs with no fear at all, Kham Moon honked at her. A few seconds later the dogs are close by again and Pyi Mai kicks out a front foot at them, lol, and hurries under her mama. Kham Moon is a wonderful mother, but her past has made her nervous and distrustful, even of a nanny for her baby. I think, though, that Pyi Mai’s outgoing, inquisitive and confident nature will keep her from becoming anxious like mama.

I'd love to know the temper difference between Asian and African elephants. Asian elephant seem more docile than the African ones. OK, these ones are used to live with humans but still.

What is it that the elephants are eating for dinner? The mahout are so young. Do they commit to a specific length of time to stay with their elephants?

At 12 minutes, by the river, why do the adults extend their tails? Is it concern for the baby close to the river, please?
