Pyi Mai is being her adorable self...such a cutie. I absolutely love the rumbling from the adults. Like gal's just having a chat while on their walk. Wonderful to see...and hear!💖💖💖
@@robbie_ Rumbling is a way elephants communicate with each other. It can mean a variety of things just like people talk to each other can be about anything. Trumpeting is usually for alerting each other and/or signaling danger or even excitement. You can learn more if you research it...like I did several years ago. Be resourceful.
Shes so proud to show off her new family. She may be telling all the other elephants Don't even think about it. This is my family. 😂 It took her so long to win Pyi Mai moms heart.
Pyi Mai is cuteness overload ;-) It would be nice this this family and Wan Mai's family to come together if Wan Mai wasn't so rough. I love to hear them "chat".
I wish we could know their thoughts from being rescued and given a much better home and way of life with lots of love from the angels that care for them..... Elephants are very inspiring creatures and I always wanted to at least touch one ♥️
Pyi Mai is like a hyperactive child looking for mum, nanny to annoy ( always without success ) , make a mess of beautifully presented food or having a splash in water throwing tyres around. It is a joy to watch these majestic mammals living a life free of danger and all because of the wonderful loving people who care after them. 💘💘💘
Get such a kick out of watching Pyi Mai feel the ground, cement structures, and just about anything with her mouth, and head down trunk near mouth so she knows the feel and texture of a things. What a delight! Really like human babies need to do. I'm so glad you share all their glorious ways with us!!!
Great video today. Actually, I love all of them!! Could you please explain meaning of "trunk thumping"?? I don't see it on every video but enough for me to ask. Thank you. They were very talkative today. I wonder what they were talking about...🤭💜🐘💜🐘
Pyi mai,is a cute baby elephant,I send my love to p mai, mother elephant and nanny elephant,I hope my elephant friends enjoyed they're afternoon in that nice thailanise place.❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
It's hilarious when the little girl gets truckin' and the ladies follow behind. Still, I think the best shot was the adult at the beginning with the scratching post -- something we can all understand was that mental "ahhhh" when the itch was handled :)
I have understood that to mean when they want to sense if there are any threats around, or any other animals, people they put their trunk on the ground and may start banging it because it picks up a vibration (can be miles away even) and hear steps, movement, etc.
Good morning from my side of the world and Happy Mother’s Day 🥰 I am still watching this so cute lovely and cute video every day 🐘❤️ But I can’t wait for new ones it’s been a week since this last video... ❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
I have two questions first question .....what does it mean when the elephant taps it’s trunk on the ground? Second question... does the elephant chosen as nanny automatically produce milk?
The nannies breast swell in a maternal response, as they spend time around mom and baby hoping to win baby's affections to gain the coveted main nanny position, but there's no actual milk. Lek showed us once, nothing actually comes out, or if it does it's just sort of a clear liquid. The trunk thumping is a protective thing. Sri Nuan, the nanny, seems to do that a lot.
@@janinestokes4883 Does the nanny also nurse the baby? I saw a response to someone that the smaller elephant was the mom, I know I saw the baby nursing on the larger female.
Pyi Mai picked her nanny. The mom, Kham Moon and nanny didn't have any prior relationship before arriving at ENP. After Pyi Mai picked Sri Nuan as her nanny, Lek explained that the mother would have to accept the nanny as well, though at first Kham Moon was a bit nervous. I only know because I've followed them on facebook.
Not really sure but when the Nanny rumbles she might be asking Pai Mai to come and suckle. I see her put her leg forward quite often when she rumbles which usually indicates it’s suckle time. As I said not really sure, but that might be one part of the conversation between them
