god bless my hero ray brown.still grooving at 75yrs old.still playing with top class people as always.never anything less for ray.he was the bass.who was to know what was just around the corner.he was having a nap and the big guy upstairs took a look and decided the rythmn section needed a boost.wonderful memories of a GREAT musician.nice upload many thanks.
I dig this, I wish I could find more of this, this is just right, you can follow this, some jazz is just too far out there to follow, I can follow this, and THAT is a GAS! Love it, I just wish I had you guys' chops. That bass, OMG! Each player has the control of a master, as well they should because they are.
Man - I sure do dig George Fludas: even Cedar Walton and Monty Alexander were "importing" him FROM CHICAGO TO NEW YORK (!!!!) - He was THAT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Beautiful "sound" from the kit........ everything really.....).
