I typically enjoy listening to the 49ers beat writers, but this press conference was trash. Nick handled himself in a professional manner.

So they grilled him over his background. It's done and over with. I will give him a clean slate as a member of the San Francisco 49ers! His political and personal views are his own. I wish him health and success as a niner. Lets go faithful. Lets gooooo!

Nick Bosa handled this well. Sick and tired of hearing about tweets he sent out when he was 19. He shouldn't have to apologize. We live in such a fragile world now. And I'm a Kaepernick supporter who is pretty left leaning.

I just like the way he conduct himself, Looks mature for his age and he sounds sincere . As humans we all make mistakes, say things. I can not say the guy is racist, his just been young and reckless and Hope he learned something from his own mistakes , moving forward.

As a black male in America, I understand why some of his past social media posts rubbed people the wrong way. As a Conservative man, I don't care about his Political affiliations in the same way that I understand that Colin Kaepernick truly believed in what he was doing. While Nick's political views are generally shared by me, I part ways with his views about his non political views. Looking as objectively as I possibly can, I don't necessarily think that Nick has a problem with black PEOPLE simply because of black skin; however, I do believe that he has (or at least had) somewhat of a negative outlook on black CULTURE. There's a big difference. I definitely don't or won't crucify the young man based on what he felt as an even younger man. I can only imagine what we'd find if we went through each of our social media profiles and posts over the last few years. Here's MY perspective... Even if he still feels the way he felt when he originally posted those things, fueling or matching those beliefs with hatred or negativity will do more to solidify and justify his views than it will to help change them. I'm of the firm belief that's it's about building BRIDGES and not WALLS! What Donald Trump did has very little to do with Nick. We should've expected nothing less from The Don considering that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. What Donald did had very little to do with sending a congratulatory message to a young man who's reached the next step of his life and stage of his career. It was simply and act equivalent to sticking out his tongue and thumbing his nose at all of the Leftists and Colin Kaepernick supporters particularly in the same city for the same Organization that served as Colin's original platform. As a black Conservative who's too hard for MTV but not "black enough" for BET, I constantly find myself not accepted by either side but still trying to build bridges between the two. I'm in the unique position of understanding both sides of the coin and under constant pressure from both. My question was, is, and will continue to be, this... When are you all gonna get tired of being so easily divided in every area that counts??? Am I the only one disturbed by how easy and often we as a Nation keep falling for the same old trick? I feel like the only one employing common sense and discernment sometimes! The irony here is that the same people who were crying and saying that there's no room for politics in sports with Colin Kaepernick are the main ones celebrating the addition of Nick Bosa based mainly upon his political affiliation! That's ridiculous and downright retarded. So in this situation, I completely understand why some people feel as though the condemnation toward Bosa is unwarranted and the circumstances surrounding it are being dramatized and exaggerated. But I also understand why certain members of the Media decided to address it right outta the gate! And while many think that the topic was brought up maliciously and in poor taste, I honestly feel as though they did Nick a favor. It was the elephant in the room, and everybody was thinking about it. Addressing it right outta the gate allowed Nick to face it and speak on it immediately instead of having to worry about when it would come up.

Few things:- 1) Why do people think Bosa was 16 when he tweeted about Kaep? Do the numbers. 2) Why are people so upset that he was asked straightforward questions about things he chose to put out there? No one made him call Kaepernick a clown.
