I just don’t understand how the family and friends didn’t see this coming. His fans have for quite a while. Nearly every post I saw of his, there were dozens of people in the comments begging him to get help. Desperate cries that reminded me of Chester’s fans before he died. 😢 Did his parents and everyone around him care more about him being famous? They truly set him up for failure.

You can't just blame mental illness and addiction for this, you have to look at what was a large cause of it also. Abuse, especially through his entire childhood, is a huge factor in causing both. This poor kid didn't have a chance with all of the physical and mental abuse he endored by his own brother, and parents that just turned a blind eye to it. So very, very heartbreaking.

Perhaps Nick should have spent every opportunity trying to help Aaron at all costs? Instead of letting Aaron's behaviour push him so far away that Aaron was left alone with his demons. I guess, very sadly, Nick will have to live with that. Losing two siblings to overdoses, it's absolutely heart breaking. Aaron's addiction made him lose custody of his one year old son & pushed his family away. If anyone out there is struggling or has a loved one who is, don't give up, because love & much support is the way out of the darkness. Don't leave people alone hoping they will change on their own, because they won't. We addicts unfortunately do not make for old bones; we either get clean or we die, that's it. I didn't particularly like Aaron because of his behaviours, but he didn't deserve this & it's so upsetting. I wish everyone who loved him the very best 💗

It's sad to have family that enforced restraining orders on you suddenly wallowing in sadness over your passing. Hypocrites, they must think no one remembers how they treated him. At least have the integrity to keep quiet if you behaved like you did while he was alive.

A musical genius who graduated a yr early from HS, & a year early with HONORS, earning TWO bachelor degrees from BERKLEE College of Music in Boston. She's been an alcoholic for over 10 years & has lived on the streets of Camden NJ & NYC. YES, we offered her help but addicts will choose their path to sobriety if & when THEY are ready. She fortunately did but will never be the same sister I once had💔🙏 BUT....the ONE thing I ALWAYS did & still do, & the ONE simple yet sometimes life saving thing an addict like Aaron Carter will Never refuse, are phone calls from family! Just to say "I LOVE YOU, How are YOU?"⁉️And NOW that this talented loving young man is gone, he's getting more attention & Love that he ever asked for! I know nothing about his life but if he didn't at least get this, then SHAME on ALL of you! For the past yrs I watched & enjoyed this talented, funny young man who was full of life & had dreams of a successful future. I had Faith in him, as his dedicated fans did also. We encouraged him & gave him the support he so desperately needed & deserved. He was obviously an extremely talented young man who was chewed up & spit out by the industry regardless of his circumstances. We should all be adult enough to have empathy & common sense to understand his young fame & sometimes the repercussions that can go with it. But if you were his family, I can only hope you at least picked up that phone to call him, sent a card & have said those words...."I Love You, How are you doing?" I am deeply heartbroken at his loss. He didn't get to know how he had a positive impact on so many people's lives. I myself have had a difficult year & watching Aaron live got me through to a better place again. He innocently opened his life live to his fans & to the haters who made cruel comments that I would & still wonder "WHAT kind of person raised evil like them" to say such things to another human being. Thank you Aaron, for sharing your sense of humor, , your amazing songs you wrote, the birth of your precious son, & hearing your excitement of plans you had for your future. It's very unfortunate you gave so much of yourself to us & never asked ANYTHING back in return but for Love, understanding & acceptance, & a chance you worked for & you most certainly earned!👍💯💖 You never got to know you saved me (& I'm sure many others) Meanwhile our hands are tied to return the favor & you tragically lose your life, yet you saved mine. It's heartbreaking that Nick and his brother weren't getting along when Aaron passed, but it is understandable with all the problems they had over the years. Aaron's demons caught up with him. So sad and tragic.

I’m a 27 year-old young man with Cerebral Palsy. I don’t like hearing stories like this because nobody knows how much time we have on Earth and I have career aspirations as an entertainment journalist and actor to achieve. I want to book work for Pepsi commercials and family movies like Toy Story and Sonic The Hedgehog 2. However, my grandma always said that young celebrities have difficulty dealing with the setbacks of fame because they achieved so much success when they were younger. I understand why I’m still waiting to achieve my dreams as I currently finish up my Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Video Arts Production from Bridgewater State University.
