"when you ask me why he gets upset, its his inability to express himself.. verbally, thats why hes a fighter.but when he gets in that ring hes a poet, a poet in motion"..thats true about nick..#nickdiaz #truth
Albert Gonzalez I can relate to this. As a kid and even now I find it hard to express myself verbally. I was born with a speech Issue cause during birth the Umbilical cord wrapt around my neck. I remember it use to be very bad only my brother could really understand me and that made me shy. I was shy to talk cause I didn’t want people to catch on to it. Even now I’m still that way and still have a bit of issues and hearing their story really helped me out with my own insecurities. I use to use sports and still do to express myself almost, you put all that anger you got built up inside you of those kids who laugh at how you talked and you go to work. They see that and now they wanna be friends f that I don’t allow people to hop on my wagon if they were making fun of me when I was broke down with nothing to get back up on. as a kid I would always avoid fighting as much as I was egged on to do it, of course I would defend myself if necessary but for some reason trouble always finds me. Man you really do realize that your on your own in this world when you’ve been through experiences like this. The only way to escape that reality was to play a sport for me and clearly for both Diaz brothers. My favorite part was him talking about kids egging on fights like hey go fight him he called you this don’t be a b****. This stuff happens to me all my school life and I remember just being like f all of you. I myself always had bad attendance even to the point where in middle school they took me to court and in high school being close to that also. I just did not want to show up into a toxic environment where I might have to fight just to defend myself in a dam school. I never really learned anything cause I was so disconnected from school but I was more aware of my surroundings than anything the teacher said. I just wanted to feel safe in school and even now its still pretty bad if not worst with what’s going on in America. Schools are no longer places to learn but jail for these kids. Much respect to the Diaz brothers, their situation was a lot worst than mine but I just wanna share my story that connects to all this.
It was never a show with Nick, what you saw is what you got, he was a real genuine fighter that was really only focused on providing for his family, Nick Diaz is an aspect of the UFC we as an audience haven’t seen for awhile.
Basically he's saying if the money's good but the job is tough and you can't deal with that good luck motherfuckers or whatever. Lol..... Just my thoughts
The commission is apart of the occult. That's the reason the Bros are demonized. Only somebody who is fooled by propaganda doesn't like the Diaz Bros, also a newbie mma fan who never watched strikeforce or WEC. And there is A LOT of fake newbie mma fans these days. I mean unless you're a personal friend of Clay Guida or Mayhem Miller, than you are a fucking idiot if you don't support the Bros.
The thing with the Diaz Brothers is that they look authentic, depressed, imperfect, crazy...but real real real. On the other hand, with McGregor everything feels like it's done for the ratings, previously staged. One cannot tells what he really feels and what he really believes in.
I have heard a lot of negative shit about this Nick and Nate but after seeing numerous interviews, vids and fights they both are becoming my favorite fighters. Being real is what it's all about
Nick suffer from some type of bullying I can't describe... is when they are talking shit to you but ur fighting back with hate! so he didnt let anyone bother him like some other kids who suffer from bullying but they are quiet and barely talk nick was some of the few kid who talks shit back
+wolfpacguy Deep down I feel this person wants to be loved and excepted but society pushed and pushed and made him what he is. I feel sad that this person could of been somebody different. When was a kid he had some mischievous ways, didn't learn to deal with expressions and picked on, a product of life. Everyone wants to be free and enjoy life. It too much energy to be tough but for him he is caught in a trap and now it is his destiny. I will wish you luck against Mcgregor.
Nick Diaz is the true compass of a person who took all the negative energy people gave him and turned it into a positive and I how nick knows that one person who made it a reality
I can relate to Nick in so many ways that his ups and downs motivates me to the poiny that I just simply wanna br myself and don't have to pretend to be someone I am not. Thanks nick for setting up a real example of a straight forward realist person. #realist4life
Yes he is. I loved the interview he did before he fought lawler 1st time and the interviewer said he wasnt a knockout fighter. He said" how do u know?" Lol he knocked lawler the fuck out right after.. think he was proving a point??
Funny how in 2016 people are still sleeping on Nick, his little brother just fucked up the self proclaimed #1 P4P like it was nothing. Can't wait to see what he does when he makes his return. The real GOAT
+Dallas Van Winkle The fuck are you talkin' about? He got whooped every round by Anderson Silva, Condit and GSP both whipped his ass too. He's never even held a UFC belt. Great fighter, but "nobody can take him out in the ring?"
This interview is so raw and to the point, name one other fighter you genuinely believe is truthful in everything he says?! He doesn't claim he's the best, that he's a star or anything like that. He just comes and fights, and he ain't scared of anyone. Even if ability wise they're 100x the fighter Nick is, he would never back down win or lose
this is pure motivation in the most primal way. Go get yours Diaz boyz. true real fighters. This isn't a sport its a kill or be killed fight. When they look back at true pioneers in fighting, these are the guys to compare all others.
Nick is a true champ. Reminds me of my son. Chose the wrong road. But is a brilliant individual but misunderstood. These guys are rare and only a realistic perspective person truly knows that. Nick has been screwed over by Dana because he's not a ass kisser like the majority of them. No one will ever take that away from him or his brother Nate. Truly earned my respect.
The way the teacher was describing how Nick acts and talks sounds just like me. I have a hard time making eye contact and talk slow like Nick. I was diagnosed with mild autism as an adult and Nick probably suffers from a mild form of it too. One of the easiest ways to tell is peoples eyes when they talk to people they don’t know. People with just social anxiety have a different look than people with autism.
I felt they just wanted to LIVE.. and life made them what they are. Like ROCKY, HE IS A NICE GUY AT HEART BUT TOUGH BECAUSE LIFE MADE THEM. The streets made them. I feel sad and yet feel so proud. You go!
bringing honor, integrity, love and loyalty to the chicano race! ...to often we as chicanos are placed in the environment that others say we must live in,we as a people try to survive, and as individuals we do our best! the sorrow and teardrop is there in our hearts!,but the truth of who we are comes out!...keep up the good work !,both diaz brothers! i lost my little brother in 1994! I left to the army to survive! but for some reason chicanos are treated the same everywhere! ....stay close your two have each other ! your greatest gift to others has been your loyalty and love for each other! ...nick and nate diaz ! you have made in difference in the hearts of many! my father grew up in Stockton! and his 12 other siblings! he is 75 years old now,but his kids were raised in los angelas California! ,...stay real! and stay loyal to each other!,God bless you both!
man i relate so much to this guy. His anxiety seems to have been going away more from what ive seen in recent interviews. Heres hoping we both can overcome that shit. Generalized anxiety disorder can fuck you up if you dont get it treated or find an outlet (like fighting)
+APBTIW86 i honestly didnt like him before but once i readup on him and his story i was like holy fuck i can relate i guess thats why im a big time fan of him now like you said he gives a certain people a voice people that have been through shit or the quiet people he just represents anyone whos ever been an outkast in any shape or form.
I like Diaz. I'm a bigger GSP fan but I think I can understand nick. He is a product of his environment and that's why he is what he is. A few months ago GSP said he would be willing to work with Nick on his wrestling at tri star because he believed Nick could be even better than he is now as a fighter. You have to admire Georges for that. Don't think Nick will take him up in his offer but it's ok. Like I said, Nick is nick and he is who he is.
Diaz brothers and Forrest griffin is why I aspire to be an mma fighter, I'm goin to train hard! Thanks I appreciate them being such an influence on my life
"They had an issue with my attendance already, cause I wasn't having good attendance anyways cause I didn't want to show up to school and end up having to BLAST somebody..." lol I love the way he put it. Can't wait till he gets off suspension and ends up having to BLAST some fighters. Love him or hate him, you have to respect him because this dude brings it every fight!
diaz is the definition of a fighter, as a young martial arts student going through almost the exact same situation he's explaining in this video I can really relate. the idea of fighting makes you scared, angry, nervous, and a million other things but none of those help you in the cage , he understands that. that's why he's going to win this fight , maybe not on paper but he'll beat george mentally.
I love the Diaz brothers. I can relate to some of this stuff. The things you go through can either pull you down or could help you fuel your own rocket ship to get the hell away.
Nobody was more exciting to watch than Nick Diaz, from Pride 33 with Gomi to his Strikeforce run with 11 straight wins . Cyborg, Shamrock, Marius , Daley, all of them were epic .
you just have to love the Diaz brothers! i fucking love em'! all respect and cred to the Diaz brothers! the best fighters, the greatest persons, true warriors, the Diaz brothers!
I don't care if Nick fights again in the cage.. I only want to see him do well and be happy AND live the martial artist lifestyle again..This is what I miss the most about him in the recent years.
please please diaz brothers ..you guy s have a lot of fans ..you guy s have a lot of brothers who understand !!!!.. you entering the world of "fame" is good for like minded people !!! also lots of non fighters .. just life survivors ... thank you for inspiring and for the hard work !!! .
