I'm a white Englishman and understand that nationalism is the only politics but I became interesed in Hinduism and live in India as much as I can; there's no proselytization and it encourages people to find fulfilment in their own traditions. However if I can speak freely, Christianity is near the centre of the problems of current alienation and poor cultural values. 'Our traditions' aren't really ours in the least- they're from Israel for goodness sake and were imposed on pre-Christian spiritualites which indeed have links with Indian dharmic religions. All you say about community is fine and urgently needed but with your central image as some virgin guy tortured to death alongside a virginity goddess, and saying suffering is good and sex and its maturity of mind is bad, alongside sets of fixed rules that don't cover for life's diversity, you're going to contine to be part of the problems. Christianity obviously expresses a control system to keep people down by inverting common sense. Best wishes

@@MC-kk8xu Thanks a lot. As Nick says, the association of nationalism and Christianity is a recent and rather strategic move, and I think a serious mistake. I always listen to him but the problems in our culture are deeper than he understands. There is alienation between people, that other groups in the world don't share, that has nothing to do with antagonistic liberalism or other outside forces. Christianity is an older form of foreign influence taking advantage of us... Moreover Lana Lektof (if I have her name right) I think argues for a return to paganism.
