The truth behind Nick Jonas’ previously reported injury has been revealed. In the new NBC special, “Olympic Dreams Featuring Jonas Brothers,” Nick alongside his brothers Kevin and Joe try out a handful of Olympic sports. But things take a turn when they hit the BMX track where Nick crashes his bike and ends up being taken away in an ambulance with a rib injury.

I do agree though, the American health care system is horrendous. When Nick was first diagnosed his family were broke and could barely afford insulin. Nobody should ever be in that position.

@@danielgalusha Oh, thanks. It looked like he went down LIKE I FELT I did coming out of the first turn @ South Park, (so much so I felt a lil ptsd moment watching it). I never broke a rib, but I did lost my spleen BECAUSE OF IT, lol! I came back that season to Double in Class & Cruiser, “driven” by the embarrassment, (of course everyone observed the incident) AND a few ounces “lighter” losing it! I instinctively knew how to win, but never picked up on the whole tuck-n-roll deal.

@@richardmalone4721 Since i started in 1986. Ive WRECKED TUFF. Broke and rebroke left wrist. Both ankles etc. vegas is local scene to me. I volunteer at ed fountain park bmx. And have a crashes at southpoint under my belt. But…. Flats. Clips etc… Ouch is ouch right! 🤘🤷🏼‍♂️🤘

Poor guy. Dangerous show he was doing. It didn't look like a really awful fall, but he went down in a weird way. I'm just hoping gymnastics and high jump were not among the Olympic sports covered. I like this idea for this show, because I don't think people are as big into the 'Lympic Games as people who are 50+ now were, when we were younger. But maybe it's just that sports haters no longer keep quiet about it. That could be it. Anyway. A friend of mine cracked a rib and she couldn't sleep in her normal way for many months. It was miserable for her. Body needs time to heal. People have lives to live. Then you have to sit out for a while. Probably accurate that Nick Jonas is more active than most his age, even. Live and learn.

Omg baby went to hospital..... Sheeeeeesh i have fallen so many times going big.... Still made it to work the next day.. Had to lay my self down in the bottom of an empty pool a few times all alone... This is weak... Wow.

@@danielgalusha I'd argue and say Redlines are about the same as Mongooses. Alise took silver in Rio on a Redline. It doesn't matter what the brand is nowadays as all race bikes are advanced
