thats your opinion, but it certainly does not make it fact...i happen too think he sounds good and so do other people, just because it doesn't appeal too you, doesn't make it automatically bad. sorry.
Everyone is getting mad because he looks weird when he sings. Am I the only one who thinks the way he looks when he sings is so sexy?!? 😍 and why is everyone so concerned over that !?!? what matters is that he can actually sing !!! like chilll
This is so beautiful!! Nick has put his own variations to paint the song that was already done before but in his own style. Fantastic and phenomenal cover!! Brought tears to my eyes! 😍
Rosanne Gjaltema You are very perceptive and correct! He has a crapton of jaw tension issues that he apparently is too busy to work on. I'm sure he'd sound like 10x better if he worked on it. lol
People dont understand that having your "own style" is what music is about. Who care if they hate it, music is about expressing your own creativity, not adpting to consumer demands (mainstreatm artist)
it is his technique for gods sake, if you don’t like it just leave, nothing funny about that, a lot of you that are laughing their „asses off“ here can’t probably hit one note
Don't get how anyone can say this is a horrible cover...might not be to your taste and it's damn near impossible for anyone to come anywhere close to being as good as the original but he has a good voice and its a different take on sam's version. If it was supposed to be like the original he would've done a karaoke version.
Briseida resendiz exactly! Everybody is complaining about him singing like he got smth in his mouth but thats just how he sings and he has always done that and hes amazing for that. dont get all these hateful comments :(
Nick Jonas sings fucking amazing and this cover is just beautiful. Y‘all put here complaining about the way he sings and the faces he makes. He sings like since forever and this is just his way to perform and his technique, nothing hilarious about that. If you don’t like it just be quite for gods sake and leave. Thanks
lol why should it even matter that the way someone sings is different than other singers? if it makes him comfortable with how he sings, and seriously, hes amazing. so, enjoy the music.
Nick has a beautiful voice. He always has. it's just that he sings through his teeth (he always has) and that's such a stark contrast to how full Sam Smith's voice is. Now that doesn't take away Nick's talent at all. He's performances on Broadway were some of my favorites he's ever done. It's just that his and Sam's voice are COMPLETELY opposite so the song sounds weird in his style. Not the best choice for him. He's still amazing though.
His mouth being partially closed like that could be a signing technique. You drop your jaw down to prevent signing from the nose (nasally) or he has jaw tightness which a lot of singers get when they have been singing too frequently. :D great cover though.
i came across this video after watching a sam smith video. he doesnt sound bad. i dont listen to him but its not bad. but i cant stop looking at his smirk thing. why cant he open his mouth when he talks? and why does he take such a dramatic breath before he sings?
