Some of my thoughts: 1. Nick touching his tie and thinking about June 💔 you definitely feel that he’s uncomfortable at this own home. He misses June so much! 2. The guy that ran back to Gilead after saving his girlfriend. That was about June and Nick right? I mean foreshadowing. And she was crying as if it’s her fear she might soon lose Nick like that. And that fear happened right after during the phone conversation 3. The way June always cries when she hears/sees Nick! Beautiful. That’s love! 4. The kiss in Nick’s head - fucking beautiful! 5. “Try and be happy” paralleled with the last season as their “I love you so much but it’s killing me we can’t be together” 6. You can tell they love each other. It won’t change! 7. June thinks she lost Nick for good. 8. Nick is tortured by being apart from June and Nichole but he doesn’t trust politicians that’s why he didn’t accept tuello’s offer Overall despite we’ve been fed so bad this season and I hate it (!) it’s definitely not the end between them
I think a part of why Nick didn't accept Tuello's offer is also because he genuinely cares about Rose. She seems like a really nice person. He probably doesn't want to do anything that might get her in trouble. Also I wish we'd learn a bit more about how they met, how he told her about June etc. That would definitely be more interesting than a thousand forced Luke/June scenes. Yes, I definitely agree that June thinks she's lost Nick, that's why she's trying to rebuild her relationship with Luke. But she clearly still loves Nick so much. I saw an interview with Max where he said that by the end of the season Nick starts to realize that the Gilead shoes don't fit him, which might mean he's finally going to be ready to run away. Keeping my hopes up!
Does anyone else question if Rose’s baby is biologically his? I truly believe he would have done some digging on Rose before choosing to marry her and that one of the things he would want/need to know is if the woman could actually get pregnant because unlike a driver when married to Eden, if his wife couldn’t get pregnant while him being a commander, they would be forced to get a handmade most likely. I don’t think the baby is his and if it is, I think it was done in an untraditional way. I think he made sure before he married Rose, that she knew he would never love her in a romantic way so she could decide if she wanted to still enter the marriage. Because Eden didn’t have that choice or knowledge and he firsthand seen what that did to her and ultimately had her seeking love elsewhere without guidance and advice.
They aren’t done! Now that he took the deal and Tueillo finally said something Nick needed to hear I’m feeling season 6 in my bones, lol! BTW.. June smells Nick’s hair/forehead every time. She only does it to Nick, Hannah & Nichole… she ain’t sniffing Luke… although I think her and Luke know they are done, that’s why he finally let her go 😊
Beautiful as always, Irina! Generally I think June is trying hard to be a good wife to Luke, but she's also clearly still so deeply in love with Nick. That phone call had more emotion and chemistry than any scene between Luke and June, including the sex scene. With Luke it all feels so forced and awkward while with Nick it's just so natural and full of passion. They just fit together so well. Luke keeps saying "I understand", but I don't think he really does. Meanwhile Nick and June understand each other without words, no "I understand" needed, they just know. I'm gonna need the show to stop forcing Luke on us so much, nobody is shipping it! There might be people who think staying with Luke is the right thing for her, but nobody actually ships-ships it. Because there's no chemistry there.
Sometimes I do wonder what she would do if Nick left Gilead. On one hand I feel like she would want to stick by her duty to her marriage. Especially because Luke waited around for her and he's not really a bad person. But on the other hand her heart really belongs with Nick and all he'd have to do is press his advantage a little and she'd go be with him. Beautiful video by the way! All these Nick and June edits are keeping fans of this couple on life support while we go through this dark drought
I think she would not be able to choose in that situation. I feel that one between Luke and Nick will probably die next season so she doesn’t have to make a choice

Eu shipo esse casal com todas as minhas forças. Sei que o Nick gosta da Rose ao ponto de confiar nela e conta sobre a June e a Nichole, mas amor de queimar o coração só pela June. Ela é a vida dele! Quanto à June, passei um bom tempo achando que ela estava com ele sem gostar tanto, apenas para não se sentir sozinha. Mas após as duas últimas temporadas, é impossível dizer que ela não o ama.

I spent so long thinking about what the underlying meaning of “try and be happy” was and I realized that they both know neither of them will be truly happy without the other. That’s why June laughs and just says “yea” when Nick says it in season 4 and why June says it to Nick when he tells her about Rose. Idk maybe that was obvious to other but everything made sense after realizing that
@@sunshinegirl5229 I think this is one of the most complicated love triangles I’ve ever seen in both movies and television. I love Nick and I am team Nick but as you said at the moment the two have never been that far from an happy ending. Luke is a good man and she has the possibility to have a life with him and that seems impossible with Nick right now. But there is another one and half season and the situation might change. Lets see how things are going to evolve 🤞🏻

Could they possibly bestow upon us a happy ending in Season 6 wherein June, Nick, Hannah and Nicole are all united in Hawaii? You know that would be pleasing to the audience. I'm afraid, however, that Nick will perish, perhaps in an effort to reunite Hannah and June. We'll see...it will be hard to wait an entire year for this to wrap up but...that's showbiz.
Despite all the tragedy June goes through, I hadn’t shed a tear until this. I cried like a baby when he gets to offer a doll to his daughter. Those « try to be happy » broke my heart.
Soo sad beautiful....Kind of a tragic love...they'll always love each other...I'll always love Nick, too...😉! but there is Luke... he is also a good guy- and her husband and there is Nick and his wife now...how should that work out for good🤷♀️
