He has not changed at all. After stepping down from tennis court she is a commentator now and still offends players. He does not appreciates anyone inckuding himself. As long as he will not figure out his own problems and start to like himself his problem will multiply with age and time. Very sad for he was such a talent in tennis, wasted in such a bad manner.

that's not correct (the jealousy part), he mentions Rafa because it's a well known fact that Rafa takes a lot of time between points to get ready and it was observed by some players (Kyrgios, Shapovalov as examples) that he gets preferential treatment due to that. I mean Kyrgios does have a point here, Nick takes much less time than Rafa between points yet he was close to getting time violation. You may not like the guy but I see what he meant.

Seeing the tape and the handle and never wrapping a racket before. I would have done better.

Some players do that even at the rec level. People with a one handed backhand sometimes only grip up that far to save material since they don't really use the upper half of the handle. Not that Kyrigos needs to save the $2 of the cost of an overgrip but it might just be what he's used to. And he has a 2HBH so I don't know if that's normal for him or not.

Better to be an "underacheiver" than to play a rigged game. He's not even full time tennis, he'll be great at something else.

Consider the mental game you need to play against someone who's that negative toward the game and everyone involved. He humiliates you by hitting it past you before you can react or standing flat footed and hitting exceptional touch shots. I think it takes a world class talent to avoid getting caught up in that much childishness and play quality tennis until he defeats himself. I don't think so. What I think is that MOST of the players could do what he does: hit some insane shots now and then, and right after miss the easiest balls. Being the best in tennis is not about doing insane shots, its about consistency, and sometimes hitting insane shots. Kyrgios would be, IMO, what he calls others: average player, if he even tried.

He was self-harming and the only person who noticed was Andy Murray. He was suicidal with the stress of people like this video and the media and nobody cared. Why would he ever come back and do it all over again? He was hitting balls and serving like a desperate man and injured his wrist permanently.
