Foreal yesterday I was at doheny I usually go left but guy was catching the left so I turned right, and almost hit a guy that could simply of ducked underneath water but he got super hostile at me. If I see surfing coming my way I simply dive underneath them. I saw a rare critter in these oceans an otter was real cool sight

Same here in San Diego….people surf tourmaline and get upset, everyone knows tourmaline is pretty much a first try at surfing spot 😂

Guarantee you he caught more waves than anyone else there. Then he gives the bird because someone snaked him once. Not cool. When I surf doheny I encourage people to take off on me - let’s share the waves man - it’s just doheny after all. Isn’t surfing about fun?

Doheny is a beginner wave. Not sure why you’re still surfing there. Especially if you get upset at beginners.

1:41 Was a snowflake tantrum. This dude shouldn’t be surfing at a beach where there are clearly lots of beginners. If dude doesn’t like drop ins or party waves, then he should take his log and surf where there’s a more structured lineup with hierarchy.

Of course, you can do it all on a 100-foot longboard on a small wave. heck, you can even grill burgers or read the paper. Just don't flip someone. Not cool

I lived in Dana Point for years. Doheny sucks, The place should be for kids only, I have seen the men run over children and not even look back to see if the kid was ok.

Such a good wave, I've surfed Do-ho since I was Young. Very mellow, lotta people on weekends but great to just cruiz on a 10'2

Are you saying it's empty during the week? Can't say the same for Santa Cruz. It's packed seven days a week, big, small, medium. Doesn't matter. Been like that since the dotcom era.

Learned to there🤙Much love for that little wave. The place can get weird sometimes. Unhinged people! Funny story, I had a guy get tuff with me over “hotdoggin” told me to go surf Sano. Lol! What a kook!
