Every time I listen to or watch Nick Mulvey, I’m so shocked he’s not a lot more well known than he is. His music is literally so good

I chose this song for my wife to walk down the isle last year Nick. Couldn't have thought of a better song. everybody was in bits and alot of the guests were asking me about the song afterwards. Just wanted to say thank you. 🙏

My mate! You are an incredible teacher. I love that an absolute beginner could play along with little effort after a few minutes and a little practice and then you teach the chords that, at my level, I need to practise for a few minutes before throwing the picking into the mix. I'm confident I'll get the picking commited and down in half an hour but will need a couple of weeks of my standard sloppy practice to make anything respectable of it. Then Cucucaru next. Amazing song writer and performer and as if that is not gift enough to the world you take it upon yourself to offer these lessons. Your lyrics betray your wisdom to the world, your actions your humility, yet, with this act you have shown you are a giver, a sharer, a true sage and medicine man, for your music is medicine and as well as a prescription you offer the tools to make healers. Respect to you for the very circumstances of your existence, signed, a random human over the internet.

To take the time out to breakdown how to play your song is just sound. It's a beautiful song and says a lot about the type of person you are to share it in this way with the world. I remember trying to figure out how to play the music of my favourite artists many moons ago by stopping the casette tape, rewinding, playing and pausing over and over again, then trying to figure out from MTV videos how they were played live. I was listening to the single version of this song on Spotify just now and decided I'd try find out how to play it...how surprised was I to find the artist himself teaching people - Thanks, it's much appreciated :)

Great and very detailed lesson, thanks Nick. Its a phenomenal track! Its an amazing picking pattern and a killer to learn and not the easiest to teach either but you did it well, taken me more than a few days to get that one down and some pretty crazy techniques to achieve it, in the end i didn't get the rhythm until i explored the beats between the thumb and forefinger. Thanks for sharing, still working on automation and the bridge and little strum/flick to add to the picking but i'll get there. Thanks for the challenge!!

So glad i came across the tuturial for this. All tho my brain is truggling with the drum beat plucking pattern. I can hear the beat in my head but not at my fingers. This coming from someone who was always being told to stop tapping at school and even to this day at 42.lol

Dude, you're a cuban/african/jazz/folk/pop guitar wizard and I secretly hate you... I've learned a couple of your "easier" songs and they're still hard to play! Got a cover of Fever to the Form and I don't want to go home (that I painstakingly transcribed and I think I got them near enough spot on) on my youtube if anyone wants to take a listen :) This picking pattern is awesome and cant wait for some of your more advanced songs. I would like to cover your song with my accoustic guitar like you play it in the Wake Up Now - Unplugged version where you sing with those three girls and the drummer.
