“And I’m so sorry to see you go” damn I’ve cried hella times to this song but thanks nick... track rocks. Love/hate. Things get better to anyone hurting... trust that
Holy shit! I was born in the wrong generation! I’m from 98 and the music today is ok, but nothing like these classics.. I can’t imagine how dope the clubs felt and sounded when these songs were out. I would give anything to get to experience that.. I just got into 70-80s funk & I’m addicted!!
I've only ever heard this played once before and that was a long time ago - virtually forgotten! And I didn't even recognise the artist. Until last night.. my god! A good friend of mine dropped this into one of his mixes - I could not believe what I was hearing! I've said it before and I'll say again.. there are just some songs that give you so much pleasure and pain at the same time. This is one of them. So, so lovely. Thanks for the post Captn! ;)
im 23 years old and I just starting to dive into this genre of music and this brought tears to my eyes because of how good it is. For anyone who sees this, what are some songs I must check out?
Try "Turn me down" by Nick Straker , "Get another love" by Chantal Curtis , "Don't knock it 'till (until you try my love)" by Bobby Nunn , "Make me feel alright" by Karen Silver .... I was once a popular D.J. in the lower east side NYC , D.J. Ralphie 👍👍, if you want to know more great songs let me know 🤗
"champaign - can you find the time" sounds just like this tune. "Unlimited Touch - I Hear Music in the Streets" has a bass line with the same rythym as this one's guitar..
Chic « Good time » influenced ! Andy Gierus who played guitar 🎸 was in New Musik Band too ( same members like TNSB with Tony Mansfield on production) Chic Musik like tittle with this other group ( Chic atmosphere)
i fucked up with this girl that things were perfect with, then i came back around looking to make amends and go back to how it was but she moved on and just wants to be friends and now i finally understand the lyrics its so over for me
