You think this guy's hilarious I don't. He just comes up with a premise and then. Build a story around it if people think this is funny I'm going to quit my job and start doing comedy tomorrow. I mean he's trying!but I much rather prefer of comedian like Bill Burr who comes up with a story and a punchline. I'm going to start writing joke so if you can get paid for this

J Dizzle he was a huge alcoholic up until recently. He talks about it on a podcast. He’s sober now but apparently he was near death.

Demetri Martin didn't start musical stand-up. Steven Wright has been doing that. Zach Galifianakis and Bo Burnham and a few others also do it.

This is from 2009. He’s been doing this way longer than Demetri Martin. It’s the other way around

@@carlyb7870 Actually Demetri's been around a lot longer, started performing in 1997. He has specials from 2005 where he performs just like this, with the guitar. Not sure why it has to be a competition, both are funny guys, but neither are the originators of this type of comedy, which I'm sure they'd be the first to admit.
