Hands down, one of the best mixes I have ever heard. The mixing and track selection are absolutely flawless, I have gone back to listen to this album time and time again and I am blown away every time. If you have not heard this mix and are a big fan of progressive trance, do not wait any longer, it does not get any better then this.

I probably love a ton of other mix CD's more than this CD 2, but there's just something special going on here; like Nick has captured exactly what I seek in this type of music and gift wrapped it for me to keep as a little treasure when I stray outside the path of my favourites. Gorgeous, dreamlike, funky, melodic, dark. Who cares for his mixing style when he can deliver something like this. And that's not even starting on CD1
There are some commenters on this thread and other Nick mixes that always bitch about his mixing style. I've never really cared tbh, he always maintains the flow and energy
cant remember the exact year...i was in Amsterdam on a Saturday morning in a record shop, this mix/album was on in the background, got it straight up!!
Might seem trivial. But I think it's important to mention that this mix (GU24) was a considering factor in me moving to where I've lived for the past twelve years as my house number is also twenty four. Music's my blood.

Awesome. I have such distinct memories of listening to this and being transported. CD2 is easily one of the best things to ever come out of the GU series, and, even better, it possesses that most special quality of music - timelessness. A lot of great songs, but Subsky's "Strawberry Fields" is one of my favorite all time tracks. Thank you, Adrian!
Right, this Mix is one of the best GU's, and CD1 is at the same level, smooth, deep, emotional. And the fact that this mix is not that "famous" compared to Digweed or Sasha's, reflects Nick Warren's personnality: humble, fully committed to his art, understated. Try his last mix: "Balance 018 Mixed by Nick Warren [CD 1]"

Yes! @ 20 min it really takes shape, although with this mix some of the transitions are drawn out a bit, still, he is one of the best to ever get on the wheels
In my opinion disc 2 is slightly much better than disc 1. this album is suchhhhhh an epic one. cant stress enough on this. mindblowing ;) been listening to it since its release and honestly cant complain ;)

honestly I am a massive Digweed fan and I think Sasha - Ibiza is out of this world but for me this is the best GU, it's proper. I was on a beach a few weeks ago with CD1 on my Sennheisr's and I was floating away, happy days :)
