Nick Wright has developed a chemistry with DP that transcend all the sports reportering. I just like seeing DP put Nick in check about 3 times per show. Great segment.
Not a LeBron or Curry fan but I agree. I'm also old school in that Magic is one.of best all around team players ever along with Bird . I'm taking Bird over Curry and Magic over Bird . 🍻✌️ * And yes LeBron over Magic
@@terrencealexander6811 it's debatable bird is better than wilt or bill russell or duncan or kobe or shaq, that already puts him at the bottom of the top 10 list.
@@BakedTomato123 bird was the greatest small forward before Lebron came on the scene, 3 MVP’s in a row , two finals mvp and most importantly the rivalry between magic and bird saved the nba ! Without bird we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Lebron, mj, magic, bird, Kareem, bill, wilt, Duncan , shaq, Kobe. Maybe curry gets in the top 15
@@terrencealexander6811 I think Curry is in the 10-13th spots, but one could make an argument between him a bird, bird has 3 mvps in a row while curry has 2 with 1 of them being the only unanimous mvp in the league history, Curry was the leader of the team that had the 73-9 record, the greatest team record in history, bird has 2 finals mvps 3 chips Curry has 1 fmvp but has 4 chips, Bird-Magic rivalry popularized the game but Curry also changed the game and one could argue who affected the game more since the game is much different today with its 3 point offensive schemes because of Curry and his Warriors and this change will probably be long lasting for as long as the NBA continues to exist.
Ja/his posse pointing a laser at other players was threatening, but it was likely not attached to a gun. Actual laser targeting systems lasers can't be seen unless you're looking through the scope.
Nick's not wrong, but he should check the news about laser pointers and blinding pilots. There have been at least a handful of incidents in the last few months where individuals were arrested for or convicted of pointing lasers at aircraft.
Nick turns it up to 11 when he's on with dp but dan does act like a lot of the most popular media narratives are fake news to get him there. 😂 they have nice synergy but different than say nick and Colin
the NBA has to make an example out of ja atleast 30 games but the NBA needs to look at itself. They have rappers perform at all star games promoting violence, guns, and drugs. The people they use to promote the NBA are talking about the same thing ja has been doing.
You're not wrong . I don't dislike or want Ja to get a big suspension but man, he literally just got off and then does the same ish month later . He's got the Ja 1 dropping May 25 and I'm guessing Nike suspends that . Ja cares more about fun with 9s than about his NBA career it seems and that's ok but I don't want to hear about mental health or any BS from him again . 😂🍻☠️
it isnt the music. lil wayne and drake arent the problem. it is ja. whenever there is a problem. the actual person never gets the blame. no, this was ja all day and not the ludacris.
@@tacotom3492 I like him too. He’s a great player with a lot of personality. Seen him play once and dude is electric. Can’t lose it all due to off the court issues that could easily be stopped.
the obvious answer is the Warriors. Their core is proven that they can win 4 Championships lol.. You just need to retool and get some size and deepen the bench and you’re right back in the mix. Before 2 days ago they hadn’t lost a series to the Western Conference since the 2013-14 season. I mean that’s as simple as it can get.
Stephen Curry is the only one in the core Who has improved , Klay and Draymond have declined. Stuck with Poole's contract. Have no real assets to trade. And they are way over the salary cap.
@@bennydimbungu5389 True. BUT with the ultimate goal of winning a chip, they’ve proven they can. they have PLENTY of assets to trade. The young guys that they took calls on ALL year and decided to stick with. Andrew Wiggins is extremely valuable IF you want to move him. Poole is a high value asset you could move to save cap space, get some 3&D guys or picks to package with Wiggins. I would keep Steph and Draymond and move everything else if it made sense. Draymond is the catalyst of that offense so you have to keep him. And Klay still shot 41% from 3 so if you keep the core 3, restructure Klays contract (he already said he’d take less to stay) to create more salary cap.. There’s plenty of moves to be made.
@@Vic-Vega yes. once because Steph and Klay were out the entire season. And once again Klay got hurt (again) and Steph missed alot of time. What i’m trying to prove is obvious. I literally said it in the first sentence.
People like nick Wright just say anything on television these days whether right or wrong and it gets them paid handshakes with a job. I miss the old days of sports where there was none of these shows just espn and that was it. No debate shows or any of this other nonsense.
Did Nickactually say Tiger and Lebron raised the economics??? He loses credibility when he puts Lebron ahead of MJ when you talk about raising the economics of NBA players....
Hes not giving them more credit. But because so many people discredit the bubble he has to be over the top about it. The teams are different but the important players are the same. Of course they've improved but that doesn't make the point untrue. And no it wasn't a fluke. Injuries are always a factor but you still have to win 16 games and that's more than enough to say the best team won.
Bubble championship is different. Literally always hurt Ad had like 4,5 months rest and Lebron same thing. What happened next year after bubble or year after that one?
dude is sucj a non-stop promoter of lebron, either wright is gettinmg money thrown at him by klutch to promote lebron.....or he's the biggest fanboy in media.
Nick Wrong at it again… The teams were completely different and players had a 2 month break before the playoffs and were very young. LeBron and AD wouldn’t have even played if the playoffs were scheduled like usual. Why would you give them more credit when they get the advantage of getting to heal up? The fact that it took 3 years to duplicate the same teams shows the bubble was a fluke. The teams in the bubble were very young and injured and took 3 years to mature and build properly. Most of the players on the Lakers aren’t even on the team anymore and or retired lol. Dwight is in freaking Taiwan 😂 Nuggets and Heat were decimated with injuries. Celtics were young and have improved immensely, don’t have Hayward or Kemba and now have White, Horford, and Brogdon. The Heat were young and the entire Heat roster looks different except Bam, Jimmy, Herro, Gabe. Lowry has become an essential player to the Heat. Nuggets roster was young and is completely different as well except Jokic, Murray, and MPJ. Jokic won 2 mvps since 2020.
@@jandt3463 But all the teams are completely different than what they were in 2020. The teams the Lakers faced were all decimated with injuries and were very young. Jokic didn’t even win his mvps yet and Murray, Harris, MPJ, Millsaps all dealt with injuries during that 2020 playoffs and Heat had an injured Jimmy, Bam, and Dragic. Their best player was arguably rookie Tyler Herro lol. Yet I’m being told beating those teams “counted” 🤨.
@@lynnerose7891 I meant that they're great relationships to have... not that Colin is right a lot or not flawed in his analysis. But that Colin and Dan are great people in the industry to have in your corner.... I wouldn't say Colin is terrible but he isn't the best for sure. Skip is by far the worst with Rob Parker and Colin taking the 2nd and 3rd worst slots.
