I like his entertainment, but ultimately he comes from the Colin Cowherd school of journalism. This focuses less on accurate reporting and more on self/municipality promotion. AKA- HOMER!!!!

But I’ve noticed, since Nick started debuting on TV during The Herd in 2016, he always uses numbers and analysis to back up his claims/viewpoints, rather than just spewing nonstop opinions with no merit behind them (like Skip Bayless or SAS for example). Yes, he’s a Chiefs/LeBron homer cause they’re his favorite team/player, and he plays it up to provide fun & entertaining segments on the show, but he truly believes what he says (not just saying it for attention/views) and constantly informs the audience of the numbers & data to back up his statements.
I'm a Nick Wright fan but I was A Detroit Lions Fan before Nick was even born. As always I enjoyed this segment but I wish that Nick, DP, any of his crew, Denzel Washington, Roger Goodell, SOMEBODY give The Detroit Lions some credit for beating The NFL Champions!! I watched both The NFL on CBS and Fox NFL Sundays pre game shows. Very little or NO talk about The Lions victory. I know that The Chiefs were short Kelce and Jones but Patrick Mahomes, the GOAT heir apparent, HC Andy Reid, and the rest were there. Ya'll will be soon putting respect on The Lions name.
Honestly it might actually be the most beloved. The First Things First RU-vid comments are such a pleasant place. No other sports so generates such consistently good vibes instead of bitter debate nonsense.
