Nick Yap's Senior Class President Speech 

Special thanks to Simon Vuong for making me throw out my old crappy speech and helping me craft this one.
Feel free to use any part of my speech in your own, but try to tailor it to yourself as much as possible. Good luck in your elections!
This was my speech for senior class president:
I know you guys want to get back to class, so I'll try to keep this brief.
For those of you that don't know me, Hi, my name is Nick Yap, and I'm running for Class President. You guys are probably sitting there in your comfy auditorium chairs wondering to yourselves "What makes this guy qualified to lead our class?" Well, I'll lay it out for you.
To start, I'm persistent. When I set out to do something, I give it my all. Take this as an example:
Every day, first period, 7:20 in the morning, I'm sitting in la clase de Español. Now, there are a lot of you out there taking Español, so I know that you know what I'm going through. Anyway, la profesora enters the classroom and says "Buenas dias clase! Como estas?" And then there's that one kid out of everyone in the room who hasn't fallen asleep yet and he responds "muy bien" while the rest of us just sit there. Well you know what? I'm that kid that says muy bien. And do you know why? Because I always feel muy bien. Even in la clase de espanol I feel muy bien, because I always put all of my energy into whatever I do, no matter how tiring, or how difficult, or how long it takes. If you elect me as su presidente, I'll make sure everything I do is muy bien. I will not let you down.
Now another reason you should vote for me is that I'm an extremely organized person.
Let's pretend for a moment that I somehow win the election. Most of you probably think that I'll be president for a year and then I'm finished. But I'm not one of those college résumé padders, I'm a future planner. I know my duties don't end after graduation. Ten, twenty, even fifty years down the road I'll be planning our class reunions, along with the other class officers.
We'll need a good organizer who can put together these huge events. I'm the guy for the job. I'll make sure our reunions aren't like one of those last minute thrown together parties in some old warehouse with Happy Meals and Ronald McDonald. No. Our reunions going to be in some fancy schmancy hotel with delicious food and an awesome DJ. Don't worry, our reunions are gonna be legit.
And the last reason you all should vote for me is that I always finish what I start.
For example, when I'm playing Call of Duty and I need just one more kill for that chopper gunner, you can bet I'm gonna camp in a corner like a punk to get that last kill. And you know what? I don't care if you think I'm a camping noob, cause "I'mma be what I set to be, without a doubt undoubtedly, and all those who look down on me I'm tearing down your balcony."
Now, I'm sure there are some of you out there saying to yourselves, "Self, I'm afraid to vote for Nick, cause I don't know if he can win, and I wanna be on the winning side." Well, for those of you thinking that, remember what Curtis "Fiddy Cent" Jackson once said: "Hate it or love it, the underdogs come out on top." Thank you.
