Rubix as always bringing his insane musicality and creativity. But we should also appreciate nickel for his musicality tho, his kinda chill n kill approach is also crazy. If he wasnt battling rubix this round, i think he might be meeting rubix in semi / final maybe
Those first rounds were so good. I would've called it a tie too. I liked Nickel's second round a lot as well. Rubix knows how to pick apart a song though. Enjoyed Nickel's flow

Can someone explain how this is a hip hop battle? I mean the dancings dope dont get me twisted but the music isn't hip hop and neither dancer was doing hip hop dancing, hell I didn't see any grooving if any at all.
Too many power moves,not enough actual dancing (musicality) I guess im the only one that notices it. majority of the wins comes from doing difficult power moves
Rubix on some vintage 2016 Alex shit where he ruins his set as soon as he goes to the ground. That first set was sick until he started spazzing on the floor. Its also kinda like majid where any beat with any sort of 16ths fucks him up and he starts spazzing to them. Can dancers just ignore 16ths and focus on the beat? Gat damn.
might be the worst take i've ever seen. these 2 rounds might've been his best rounds of the competition. rubix's has amazing musicality, it doesn't go away when he does floor work you just can't pick up on it and that's okay lol

There’s more to dance than musicality. There’s nothing wrong with his aggressive style and power moves. I do agree he is better when he is subtle tho. It looks smoother
