Umm, no, that's straight lip syncing... which is cheating...since he couldn't do it. He should have just sounded like shit trying to hit the highs like any other rock band would do, he also should have left his face alone since he looks hella weird with all that plastic surgery
I went threw a lot of comments and someone (the lapse person) needs to shut up. Okay for one , they use the big flames and special effects because they like it and the fans do . Two , yes there drinking out of red cups . Wow. I drink out of a red cup too sometimes , sue me. You have never been to a rock concert . Clearly , and I have . Not just a nickelback concert . THEY ALL HAD READ CUPS AND CUSSED . Rock concert are the best and Nickelback in concert , well they are amazing . Chad (love him)
@Hatchwork Yes. Somewhere I have a few ticket stubs...probably older than you are! LOL! Thought it might be nice to do one last time. Now you've got me wondering where those ticket stubs are. Wiki "Day on the Green". I went to several of those. In the seventies. Also shows at Winterland and the Fillmore. Rock, punk, new wave. Country, soul, classical, jazz. Reggae. I like a little bit of everything.

@milanistaaa15 Yeah, was. Sort of. I heard my FIRST NB song this summer. I don't watch TV or listen to radio at home. But sometimes I'd turn on car radio. Hadn't heard of them before that. Liked the song beat, I rarely can understand lyrics. Maybe a week later I went looking for the song here and the lyrics and to find out who this band is. Liked many videos/songs. Still do. Found their website the day before they announced the new album was coming. When I went back to see what was up, the site

It's pretty interesting in some cases. IF you like the band, you should probably give it a listen. It's about 45 minutes long, covers the new album.
@9Lapis9 clearly youve never been to a rock concert, because at every rock concert ive been to, there is at least one member of everyband drinking out of red cups which can mean only one thing...that theyre drinking beer
You're kidding about the red cups, right? Honey, lemon, green tea would be a better choice, esp for singing. Good for the throat. Honey as good as OTC cough suppressants in one study. And yes, I've been to a few shows in my time, long before you were born, and when these performers were mere lads. Alas, since becoming disabled, I doubt I'd be able to see any show again. I'd be in a lot of pain and might not be able to navigate the place they perform at. If they're drunk and I'm hurting, not fun.
@milanistaaa15 I haven't heard of either of the bands you mentioned. So I don't know anything about them. I think the concerts are for the young people. Look into various music/actor news, you'll find some who had it all and blew it all. There's as much a chance for these guys to end up living in a van by the river as there was for the rest. Without the music/income/status they're loser drunk guys. Who'd hire them? What could they do for income?
@milanistaaa15 (part 2) didn't work. I just got a blank page. Other people got it too. Couldn't get anyone to help with it, not grnd control, not the people who run the youtube acct. Nobody. Seemed pretty important the site should load if they are making announcement. Anyway, I watched the videos, read lyrics, read interviews. 2 chad interviews were HUGE turn-offs. I don't want to give this guy my money, even $10 bucks for an album. So I'm torn. I like some music, hate some, dislike lifestyle.
Ohh come one, I'm a nickelback fan too but to say that Chad doesn't breathe for practically two minutes during Animals is just plain stupid. He spends maybe 30 seconds without breathing. It's ok to be proud of Nickelback but just please don't make up stuff like that.
@milanistaaa15 He often seems a little sick, his personal habits get in the way of his job. Voice sounds pretty rough. Most jobs frown on drunk or hungover employees. This job shouldn't be any exception. As it's the fans who pay, and they should get a top-level performance. Without the fans, no pay. No pay, no job.
@milanistaaa15 I'd looked at concert youtube videos here, they're all linked off to the side. Sick, drunk, under the influence, or just plain nasty, something is going on in a few of them. I won't pay money to see anyone who calls their fans "f-ers" or thinks it's hilarious to get stoned on stage or tosses alcohol into the crowd. No respect for the people that made them who they are.
@bellahope1115 It's true, I have nothing better to do. If you write a song that's impossible to sing, don't sing it/don't write it. Or perform it only when you are in tiptop shape. These guys are old enough to be your father. Some of them ARE fathers. Most are married. Now, hanging around married (with kids) guys your dad's age who think it's a good idea to do their job while drunk and hang out at stripper bars is GROSS. At least it was when I was your age.
