Nickelback @ Grey Cup Halftime 

I love how they can go from singing about forbidden sex to world peace to getting drunk. There's a Nickelback song for everybody, but I don't understand why these guys get so much hatred that they don't deserve at all.

Daniel is an absolute monster of a drummer.

Two brothers, a best friend from middle school, and a world class drummer absolutely killing it. Every school kids rock and roll dream.

People who pretend not to like them are just trying to be cool because they want to fit in. Nickelback absolutely rocks!

They smashed that gig! Many other bands should take note at how these guys sound live. Killer!

These guys are the only true stadium rock band I can think of anymore. Stadium rock used to be big in the 80s with hair metal.

Nickelback is one of my favorite bands of all time there .

These guys have it all together` tunes, sound and their playing'' and man do they kick some ass!

Nickelback never lip syncs! Chad knows how to handle the lead vocals and Mike, Ryan, and Daniel all do back-ups.

The halftime dancers were from the United Way to help raise money with the song ''When We Stand Together'. That is why they played it in Detroit, too. The UW was in charge of that show and they asked Nickelback to represent them with that song. Nickelback was NOT paid in Detroit. They love to do Charity work. They had the freedom to do any song in Vancouver, but they wanted to keep helping with the fundraising. UW dancers might not be the best, but they are their for 'all the right reasons'.

I'm not going to lie, that was the best half time show I've ever seen even though I don;t watch much football.Yeah maybe Chad didn't sing the chorus but thats because he has like a really bad throat, if you watched The Hour interview he was clearing his throat a lot. But they are one of the only bands that can perform as good or better live then on their album.

I'm going to see nickel acknowledged again hopefully when they play live in Rogers arena this year whenever that starts I don't remember

I was there in person. Not the biggest Nickelback fan, but it was a great halftime show. The pyro and atmosphere was pretty hype.

From Quebec with love, guys. Who said Grey Cup halftime shows were nothing beside Super Bowl halftime shows ? Who said that again ? Lat time a halftime show use to be awesome at the Super Bowl was Bruce Springsteen. Folks, thumbs up if Canada rocks!

Just a dandy performance, it was the best part of the Grey Cup bar none. Nobody really gives a fuck about cfl football anyway besides Saskachewan and people with nothin better to do on a random night. Its pretty funny how people continually diss them too, it actually makes me like them even more.

the entire performance was great, really great! but i'm dissapointed that they lip synced the chorus for burn it to the ground, chad sounded good for the rest of the song, i'm not sure why he had to lip sync the chorus. if you compare this to other live videos you'll see a major difference in the chorus. other than that, nice performance :)

this was a good performance! but as big of a nickelback fan i am, i have to say, the chorus for burn it to the ground was definitely either lip sync'd or there was a back track of the chorus

A huge stage filled with flashing lights and pyrotechnics and a bunch of douche bags couldn't hide the fact that Nickleback's show was half as good and half as energetic as Arkells kickoff show. Talent outweighs image every time.

I`am a former drummer myself of over 20 years, but i can`t tell if the band is really singing or was this show lip synced. I understand that things have to be perfect for tv but it`s a drag if they were not playing and singing their own songs!

It's weird really; with their new album out and everything, you'd think they'd be promoting it by playing songs FROM THAT NEW ALBUM. First on the Jimmy Kimmel show and now this, they're giving the impression that people should buy the album because Nickelback were good in the past, rather than because the new album is awesome. Poor management there.

Now in a dead heat with Mark McGrath and Bret Michaels for "Most Plastic Faced Aging Rockstar" bwahaha.
