Nickelback inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2023 Juno Awards
The 2023 Juno Awards took place at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta on March 13. Hosted by Simu Liu, it included performances by Tate McCrae, AP Dhillon, Tenille Townes, Alexisonfire, Aysanabee, Banx & Ranx, Preston Pablo, Rêve, Jessie Reyez, a special hip-hop tribute featuring Kardinal Offishall, Haviah Mighty, Michie Mee, Mel Boogie, Dream Warriors, Tobi, as well as a performance from Hall of Fame inductees Nickelback.

Amazing to see Ryan Vikedal with the guys again, sat next to Daniel too! Clearly all is well these days. Is it just me or is half of Canada called Ryan? Not complaining though, they’ve produced good ones!

Chad said it best, how amazing for them to get it in Edmonton and from our boy Connor! I'll be honest, being a Nickelback fan and more importantly an big Oilers fan from Edm since the 80's, it all for some reason brought a tear to my eye...best moment of the event by far!!

Ive really got to hand it to Chad and the guys! So glad they got in the CMHF . Nickelback got me through some tough times when i was coked out in kearl Lake...always the perfect tunes at every peeler joint i went to . As self-help prarie rock bands go , you guys are the best 🤘😎🤘

This band is the clearest example of how recording labels, radio conglomerates and marketing campaigns dictate "Popular Music". To the shills who defend this Band, check out your local music scene for perspective on what creativity looks like. But don't get me wrong, I'd also sell my soul and creativity to the devils for the kind of money they make and so will the band you just heard at the corner bar. Depresses me beyond measure.
