@@sailorshark3334 Pitchers can ask for a new baseball from the umpire at any point; an average MLB game uses around 120 baseballs per game. Dirt is only on the ball if the pitcher is fine with a ball that was caught in the dirt by a catcher.
That was pure, undeniable resentment. It was almost as if he himself was frightened by it when he immediately followed it with the nervous and pained laughter.
40:10: I love the surreal insanity of a normal baseball player catching a ball and throwing it, only for a terrible 3D model of Ren and Patrick to catch it.
39:40 Whoever said this hit the nail RIGHT on the head. I was wondering why it looked so weird, with the cartoon characters having out-of-place realistic mocapped animations. Edit: I had the wrong timestamp.
His thought process was right, though. He was thinking about the prevalence of the steroids era (Barry Bonds), and then he corrected himself to when it really kicked off, to when the steroid era came to a close (Mitchell Report in 2007). Steroid era was what gave Baseball life, but with steroid era ending and baseball games getting longer, it led to the decline of viewership.
Every time. Every time he starts a stream saying "games back then were so awesome, why don't they make em like that anymore?" he ALWAYS ends up having a huge meltdown at the game, screaming that it's terrible, and pleading for the IGN review score. See also: Lord of the Rings, Simpsons Hit & Run, etc
A missed moment was when one of the baseball commentators had this annoyingly squeaky voice when Jerma was tilted, and he deadass threatened to, and I quote: " *STRANGLE THAT GUY* "
During the casino game, when he got raided by nyanners and fucked up his mic trying to sing the raid song, I almost pissed myself. He lost like 8K viewers in the span of ten minutes, he had less than before the raid by the end of it
Here's a chapter list for those who wanna skip around: 00:00 Intro 01:20 The First Templar 08:32 Sneak King 15:20 Goblin Commander 28:28 High Rollers Casino 35:17 Dinotopia 37:00 Big Bumpin' 38:00 Omerta: City of Gangsters 38:44 Nicktoons MLB
The loading screen animation at 48:02 is kinda cute, I'd like to have seen what else that game had like that. Such a specific time in cartoons and sports melded together.
Not gonna lie, it actually made me kinda mad how he immediately dismisses Ratchet and Clank and Jak And Daxter as bad because they have “and” in the name.
It reminds me of the Backyard Sports series where they have a wheelchair-bound kid named Kenny Kawaguchi, and he ends up having some of the best stats in any game he's in, whether it's baseball, soccer, football, basketball, or hockey.
J*rma said he would play Dead Space, Stubbs the Zombie, fun games Instead he streams these 5/10 shovelware games and streams only once a week HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
Jermas freak accident at a bubblegum factory that lost him 32.7% of his brain matter has left him unable to feel anything but anger and the primal urge to zoink on stream.
for the kids, this genuinely was an amazing time for video games because the financial barriers to get a decent looking game were incredibly low and mid level developers felt more comfortable exploring game mechanics and alternative forms of controls. A lot of these games may be pretty shitty but they're also interpretations and expressions of genres that combine newer perspectives on controls and mechanics with some older game design principles. i miss the creativity of mid level projects from this period. basically only indie devs are doing this anymore, and it's kind of a shame; these old and junky games can somehow end up as the most entertaining things you've ever played
Glad I got to watch this video with 4-5 buddies on the couch, all fully equipped with only the large sodas from our meals because we had already finished all our food and were just drinking the icey watery soda at the bottom of the cup.
The baseball was pretty out of control lol, imagine seeing a real baseball game, last inning one team hits like 10 home runs, at least it wouldn't be boring
Thanks for the highlight bossman. Its wild that there were good candidates for best/worst 5 min joke, best/worst gamer moment, worst meltdown, and best stream. I foresee that this one will show up a lot in the jermawards this year
i was there when he bet it all, and then i was there when he broke even at the very end. an absolute monument of human achievement. also i was there for Sneak King, it was so bad OMEGALUL
when i was watching the nicktoons stuff last night i was just “cant wait to see the uploads for this one” he was off the shits. the fact that its not even been 24 hours since the stream ended..... youre a god amongst mortals
