Because her body of work is what is classified as a long successful career. When we’re still talking about Cardi in 10 years I’ll be happy to give my opinion on her career. Until then 😔

For the longest all u saw and heard was Nicki. And anytime another female artist would try to come out Nicki would start a beef and accuse them of ghost writing. When she first came out she made a name for herself by dissing lil Kim. Then she went in to diss other rappers who tried to make a name for themselves like Iggy azeala, Remy ma. Other female rap artists like Queen latifa and Eve have spoken out about how selfish Nicki is for not embracing and supporting other rap artists in the rap game and wants to be the center if attention. When cardi b came out Nicki acted like they was gonna be cool til she realized cardi b was giving her a run for her money. So she started a beef with her. But unlike the rest cardi b didn't let Nicki suck her in her beef trap then disappear. She fought back and continued to make hit after hit after hit and doing all the things Nicki didn't do like make tracks and videos with multiple female artists. 90% of Nicki's songs and videos are with male artists. Now you're seeing and hearing more females on the radio and winning awards. And if course Nicki Minaj fans don't like that. They likey seeing her beIN the only female rap artist Makin it big but I agree with cardi. Before her u hardly saw females in the rap game since before the era of Nicki and that's a fact
