This is for those of us who loved Save Me & Catch Me off the first Pink Friday and I'm glad she's putting a push behind it because she's never done that for one of her slow singing songs. Regret and Grand Piano are the only ones that got videos, but they still weren't promoted.

I honestly loved her “less is more” approach for this song. The lyrics are very meaningful, like you pointed out, so I think adding more adlibs & such would’ve taken away from the meaning of the song SHE💚 wrote.

Ugh, this gonna be a very unpopular opinion, but this song is only creating hype because it’s Nicki. There are plenty of very similar songs from artists with much smaller reach and it would never create any hype. It’s melodically alright, but other than that it’s very basic. Don’t come at me, I like Nicki, but let’s not pretend this song is something. I like that Zach is not faking it.

Well I love it because I lost someone didn’t say goodbye to and someone I guarded myself from because I was afraid of getting hurt and he was doing the same thing I was. We both let our pride get in the way and now he’s no longer here for me to tell him how I really feel, how much he really meant to me. October coming will be one year since he passed and I only found out about his passing in July. He was also a huge Nicki fan I used to jokingly talk bad about her to purposely get him upset. The song comes at a time in my mourning when I’m healing and putting behind me one of the worst and loneliest, drunkest Summer of my life. The words in the song are simple but some do hit me. “Bombs away” could be referring to “taking off🕊️” I could see her in a music video walking on a beach and letting go a white cloth i the wind which could turn into doves. I started crying the second time I listened the song because I remember how bad I’ve been wanting to hug him, to talk to him to ask him what the hell happened why did someone shoot him so many times. To apologize to him, because the last time we talked I told him my girl is pregnant, and he was not happy about that he hung up the phone and that’s the last time I heard from him. Being a parent for the first time took a lot out of me, and I got so caught up in this toxic place with my sons Mother I didn’t realize how much time had passed that I didn’t reach out to him. By the time I remembered to get back to him, it was too late.

@zachcampbell I agree I'm a Sain Barb and I had to listen to it again, and look up the meaning behind the song itself and found out that this song was dedicated to her dad that passed away, to there old lovers and to her friends. So which means I had to hear once and again and understood this song a bit more and no lie I cried a little because of the meaning me behind the song. So I agree it ate but you have to hear again and know the meaning behind the song so you can really get it and love it

Nicki is back&it's giving! Great song to play at night, during the summer,in the car&etc. ✨🎶 It's giving different from a lot of the other female rappers out. Erica Banks did "Ain't Got Time" which gave singing&rapping but still different songs. Both of these ladies songs can be played at a skating rink or whatever. ⛸ The music video should be beautiful. 🥰🥰💓💓 This song was giving Miley Cyrus or some female like that who sings during the singing part.
