Leather selection is had when you can’t feel it or see how it reacts. I am testing the brown waxed flesh and the predator orange for one month to see how it patinas and wears.
Thanks for the in depth video! That Predator Orange leather is a bit unpredictable. Seems like every batch comes in looking a little different, and it also changes over time more than almost any leather. The Frankenstein boot is a neat idea. I've thought about having us build something like that for a similar reason. The tough part is finding someone who will wear that monstrosity for 6 months. - Lucas G. Quite oddly I've seen your newer review videos before this and I really appreciate the review of the urban logger. I happen to own a urban drifter in chocolate max support leather and I'm getting a urban logger in 64 mohagany. Guessing the 64 will be lot easier to break in than the max support leather. Love the max support leather 3 years in though. Cheers and keep the great boot reviews coming in.
I just put up a one week update. The video of the leather comparison starts around the 7 minute mark. I am going to follow this for a whole month and then switch to a few other leathers. If you have suggestions let me know
@@oscarmayer2823 I will go back over it again when I follow up in a week. This boot is the 55 last with v 100 tread/sole. I have an hnw last with the sand 2021. Thank you for mentioning so I can clear it up
