Seen and heard him live loads of times and everyone I know waited for hype and hyper d as both normally smashed the granny out of it and if you was lucky you got both. Just so, so good and everyone waited for him to start chatting on the Mike. Him and Ray Keith at Wembley circa 1994 (record company thing) was the best I've ever, ever heard both absolutely smashed and owned the night and one I'll never ever forget.

Hyper d...always knew when to shut up and let dj rinse it. And good djs let hyper d have the pole position when he was controlling the room. Together they took u on an awesome rollercoaster ride. So versatile. We were all shocked at his death. Too soon. He had plenty more to give Curse the man who did him.
