Really enjoyed that one, especially the Steve Evans story. When he was manager of Leeds, they played Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Leeds scored and he then heads down the tunnel, rumour is that he went for a massive dump. Anyway, in the meantime, the ref chalks the goal off for offside. Evans has no idea, comes out thinking that they are one nil up. He went absolutely mental when he found out :)

Another brilliant show! Nicky was a really down to earth and funny guy. Great stories.

When I was younger, maybe sixth form, I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my sister got her hair done. So there I am, sitting in the waiting area of a hair salon with my niece, and who walks in but Nicky Hunt! I was nervous as fuck, and just kept looking at him as he read a magazine and waited, but didn't know what to say. Pretty soon though my niece started crying, and I'm trying to quiet her down because I didn't want her to bother Nicky, but she just wouldn't stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asking what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So, Nicky put down his magazine, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of a hair salon. Chill guy, really nice about it.

Great podcast but the stuff about steve evans spending millions at Rotherham is a load of horseshit. We have never had millions to spend on the team. Mostly free agent signings and we never had the biggest budget in the league !
