Excited if we can get Fulkrug! Morata is definitely a leader, he was yelling all game vs. England. Smart addition, but I hope he can finish. Especially excited if we can get Fulkrug! ❤️🖤
@@moongirl22he gives Milan versatility and takes on players all day. His goal vs. Newcastle alone was worth his transfer fee. I'm confident Fonseca will get the most out of him! ❤️🖤💪
@@VincentTheHoods you can disagree, but if there isn't a random opportunity like maybe Brahim or Guler on loan.. I don't see this management doing more, especially with a new manager
Your assessment of the Morata signing was handled with maturity and sobriety. Love it! He’s being brought over to make a difference behind the ball and in the final third (the last 30m) - the least coachable portion of the pitch. I’m super glad they didn’t go for Zirkzee. As for Fofana, he’s got a year left in his contract with personal terms already agreed. That said, Milan’s opening offer is on point; it’s a long transfer season but they have to close this before July 25. Strahinja closing at €20M would be more than fair. Fullkrug yes, Abraham no! Keep up the good work, and Forza Milan!
Morata is a decent player, and i think he brings some necessary experience. Fullkrug is an out and out goalscorer, i think having both Fullkrug and Morata together gives AC Milan a lot of tactical flexibility. As they can be rotated based upon the team we face, and if things are going very badly maybe they can both play together if we need as much firepower as possible.
Great to hear from you, bro! In my opinion, Alvaro Morata is a solid 7/10. After watching him in the Euros, it’s clear the man can still run. With the team we have, a striker of his caliber reaching 20 goals should be very achievable. I also hope AC secures Tammy; I believe even as a sub, he can reach double digits with AC. He’s got the physique, is good in the air, has pace, and is solid in 1v1 situations. With these two leading our attack, I don’t think we’ll have any trouble securing four wins in a row.
I know that Zirkzee is a very exciting prospect due to his ability and skill set, but... paying over 40 millons for a Striker that only scored 10 goals in Serie A that may or not may work in the Squad? I still remember went Milan paid 35 millons for De Ketelare and the guy went goaless for an entire season. Morata on the other hand has alot of Serie A experience, is a guy that main strenght is to drop deep and link up with the Wingers, still has 3 or 4 years of good performance left in him and comes from winning an Euro as the captain of his national team. For less 15 millons? That´s a bargain.
@@moorche7655 7 of 10? Do you remember his 3 disallowed goals in shirt of Juve? He was born in offside, not Inzaghi. Do you remember his misses from 4-5 meters and sloppy reactions for all these years? Do you remember his lack of character in Chelsea? He’s a perfect blend of all bad characteristics of Inzaghi, Lukaku and Windows 95. He never scored more than 15 goals in league in spite of the fact that he played just for the great clubs. I wish him all the best but I expect the worst.
I think Morata would be one of the best signings (in the same realm as Leao, Theo, Mike, Tomori, Pulisic and Benaccer) of the last decade. Milan has a history of bringing the best out of underrated and underappreciated strikers. Milan has also historically done well with low pricetags on incoming transfers (players with high pricetags see overwhelming pressure put on them by fans to justify the price). I see Morata giving 3-4 yrs of service Impacting the same way an Inzaghi or Bacca during their respective eras. Morata would bring a type of solidity upfront that Milan lacked in the last 5 yrs and would be instrumental in allowing Fonseca to deploy multiple tactics (including a press/geggenpress).
samardzic would be a dream signing. not because of current skill or potential but how much of a slap in the face of shinter it would be... tho you are getting a calcio proven baller
I don't think anyone realises they have a young talent named "CAmarda" the morata move is Genius. They can play him for a few years meanwhile waiting for Camarda , also having someone like Morata to guide him.
The Morata deal ill give it a 7/10. Bordering on a 8 but the contract as you mentioned is a bit long but the option year is a smart move. Keep it up you are awesome
Morata is a great signing the experience is their he will do great on his first season as Giroud did that’s what we need is players with experience that won titles bring that mentality in the team
i'm so sick when milan management send an offer to the player like fofana amount 12-15 million only, which is the club is really need the type of player. I'm not surprise if we fail on him if it still like this.
Morata = cheaper, solid striker to fill the Giroud role. 100% in agreement; the big price tag doesn't guarantee a star player being successful at your club. Get your transfers done quickly, longer they are drawn out, more clubs will inflate the price and more currently successful clubs could and will turn the players head. (Thanks for another excellent video, Kush!)
Morata is a 8 for me out of 10 , i preferred a younger striker more but , we have that young boy 17 years old , so let's wait for his debut, camarda was it
Milan used to pride themselves in having some of the best Italian talent (Maldini, Nesta, Pirlo, Gattuso, Inzhagi etc). This past Euros didnt have a SINGLE Milan player in the Italian squad
Morata and Fullkrug are pretty good but what can they achieve without a creative midfield supplying them? We desperately need creative mids. Leao and Puli are wingers, what do we have in the middle?
We’re such a sad ass team this is exactly the issues with Milan thier alwalys being cheap begging for discounts like we’re shopping in a clearance aisle signing 2 30 plus yr old strikers is ridiculous I would let this slide if they sign a sesko or gimenez along with this but I highly doubt it 😂
Lets be honest for a second if our scouting team was more active, we would have made a move for Fofana before the Euros. And also we would be scouting for talent in Italy. Playing of really players especially in Serie B.
My opinion is you need a good scouting estabilishment to sign cheap talents. Clubs like Milan always purchasing high" profile players with high salary and value which could be a flop easily. I personally not giving a damn on the values of a player because in good day anyone can be great and great players on bad can play on a level where I would not give them cold water. Also people are always seem excited on signings but when you sign a player you need to know a lot of things. First is the skill set, what the player position is and how plays. Second is the team itself where the players play mainly because most people want to sign strikers, centers, forwards or wingers with high goal scoring ability but they are often forget a good midfield required to serve the balls to the forwards. Any good season is achieved by the whole team not only individuals only. Enough if you remember some old fellas in the team. Third is the cooperation and the compatibility. You can buy players but that not always mean they are compatible with the actual team and if you want major changes you possible end up drop half of the team to change the way you are playing. This is not really a viable for large clubs because they have pressure to prove themselves. So in my opinion it is good they are trying to strengthen the squad but if these players are not compatible then it will be hard to build up an acceptable gameplay.
Except Inzaghi and Ibrahimović ex-Juve players are usually bad omen for Milan: Di Canio, Baggio, Emerson, Legrottaglie, Noccerino, Lapadula, Bonucci, Higuain, Mandžukić…
Low balling Monaco is not very wise. French football is in deep shit with TV deal that is as low as it was back in 2008.... The revenue for clubs is expected to go down 20%.
Not to be pessimistic here, but isn't Milan an Italian team? We've always performed really well when we have a good foundation made up of an Italian core. Right now this does not seem to be the case. It's sad to see no players from Milan in the Italian squad and this transfer window is about to make that worse. Calafiori would be a dream and we need him too but it's just a wishful thinking.
If you only determine if a player is good by their price tag, you are stupid. Personally I wouldn't have gone for Morata because I have doubts about his finishing but now that he's here all I can do is to wish for his and Milans sucess. As for Füllkrug, I'm German so I've seen him a lot, in club and international competitions. He is definetely a physical goal scorer but don't expect much else from him. Don't know why we are going for him now if we could have gone for someone like Guirassy from Stuttgart or someone else.
You do have to look at price tags..the prices are higher on younger players who can be great for your team for years and years. You also can mold this youngster to your system and make him a protagonist. What's the point of getting a new old striker every 3 years, and then have to teach an old dog new tricks everytime. It's just plain stupidity.
I don't think its a good idea to go with lazar samarzdic since we have reijnders and pulisic that can play as a behind the striker. Better sale Adli+ Pobega+Salem and calabria if possible and bring a Good RB. for the Salsburg CB and Fullkrug the needs these guys over.
why we need to sign another striker? Is Morata not enough? Or maybe Milan will use 4-4-2 formation? I mean it would be great if we can bring new world class CB instead
It's not about a price tag or big names. It's about the management intent. Morata is good if our goal is to finish 3rd or 4th and make some profit. If our goal is to win scudetto or make all the way deeper into UCL, Morata is not the person. Again, it's not about price tag or big name. It's about management's inability to get deals done
Young players go everywhere else AC get old players great not that morata will be a good team player average players are being made out to be great so sad the state of football...you can't compare bologna to ATM the amount of passes morata gets there stick Joshua in ATM team he will be amazing
I think kush has got it all wrong if you want to get a 24 league goal hit man get a 24 league gaol hit man for example guirassy scored 28 league goals last season and for 17.5m at 28 its a steal . but trying to make morata deal look good when he has never scored 20 league goals in is life is ridiculous . and the logic that he is a leader or for experience is laughable because if a sesko or haaland was coming to milan this logic wouldnt arrive
Milan need to be careful with all this discount nonsense, remember that there are clubs out there willing to pay up and double Milan's salary offer I believe we will be disappointed
These are horrible siginings Milan has truly fallen, they cannot pull competent players anymore, sign players like bruno. G, Vitor roque, simons, fabian ruiz etc
Why are we looking at pressing or defending as the most important thing for strikers, morata is not that good of a striker, sign a fucking youngster if you gonna do that.
Morata will be paid to much for what he brings and his contract is a disaster. No way he can be on higher wages than Theo or Mike, Cardinale better break his piggy bank.
@@brianbunker2150Morata was earning much more than that at Atletico. Let him have his chance here. He's a winner and he scores goals what else do you need?
But Morata isn't the problem, i would have sign immediatly Morata as a second striker from the bench, the problem is this should have been the year of fixing this striker thing once for all but again plan E F G have become plan A, and more important thing they even made us believe it building up the things with sesko zirkzee david ecc (mancada even did meet with sesko and david agents) so now if peoples are disappointed is all management fault they did want hype for the subscritions campain
You can't give what u don't have! Milan won't go bankrupt bcuz other teams are after d same player. I love d fact that they value d players accordingly & don't budge on agent greediness. 4 me, it has 2 b sustainable. In d future, we'll have d luxury 4 more...
