It's not just his accent though, it's his pronunciation too while mumbling his words from time to time as though he doesn't feel confident expressing himself in this segment. I guess when next to Martha Stewart people in the food and drinks industries, given her long and somewhat revered position in the same industry might not be as confident in speaking with authority on the subject even when they shouldn't feel that way.

Oh my goodness. I unreservedly apologise. That was your accent. And presumably your recipe. Umm... that's embarrassing, but I'm not sure for whom. Can satire reverse? To make anything with Martha Stewart is already satirical, but to add your-no-doubt-well-and-rightly-respected-self into the mix is a bit of an issue, without the string of onions about your neck. I understand that some parts of the world don't really do "satire", but honestly...

Spencer Vincent they do not cook it. Raw egg is generally accepted as safe in cocktails.

The citric acid cooks the egg, to an acceptable level for consumption. If the eggs are fresh and good quality the likelihood of salmonella is virtually impossible.

barninja1 there's no citrus in this one. Beer syrup, rye whisky, and egg was all they used.

Drunken Alchemist it is there the chemical make up that is found in citrus in beer. It is produced as a result of yeast metabolism and is a key component of the tricarboxylic acid cycle, which is also referred to as the Krebs or citric acid cycle. Although it contributes to the overall acidity of the beer, citric acid has little impact on the overall flavor.

Drunken Alchemist chemically speaking it has the same effect. But yes, as long as the raw egg is fresh it's no biggy being used in drinks.
