That's actually very Finnish. He grew up in Monaco, and his mother speaks German - you can hear his German accent. Yet his spirit has a lot of the Finnish mentality: the spirit to go all in, fight to the max, work ethics (school or work), practicality, and being honest - not for your benefit, or detriment - but... to be honest. Well, it used to be like that still in 80's, which Keke then brought with him. Since the 90's Finland has become more, shall we say, international, in this honesty issue.

@x While that is true, to a degree, there's also the aggect the culture gives with its values. Or the surroundings where someone grows. They enforce or dampen personal traits.

Must be so strange to have 2 generations of F1 world champions and able to talk about it to each other. Something Damon & Jacques were never able to experience.
