Que bella música, soy venezolano y jamás había escuchado la música electronica ecuatoriana, es arte :)

Nicola Cruz nació en la localidad francesa de Limoges, el 7 de diciembre de 1987, sus padres son ecuatorianos y actualmente vive en la ciudad de Quito, Ecuador; es dj, músico y productor que ha incursionado en la música electrónica añadiendo sonidos propios de la región de los andes brindando mas calidez a la música y siendo uno de los pioneros en proponer a escena un denominado andes-step que proviene del dub-step pero utiliza sonidos de los andes. Entre los años 2006 y 2007 estudió en en México sonido y producción. Comenzó como percusionista y eso posteriormente lo llevaría a entrar en el ámbito de la música electrónica pero siempre tratando de utilizar al máximo los instrumentos y sonidos propios de la región de los andes, lo cuál da como resultado una mayor calidez al producto final. Nicola Cruz busca resaltar en su música todos los componentes del mundo andino, paisajes, montañas, lagos, volcanes, también a los pueblos con sus tradiciones, comida y música ancestrales. Cuenta con su estudio de grabación en la localidad de Tumbaco en las afueras de Quito en donde puede trabajar sin el ruido de la ciudad.

The authenticity of the DJ was truly palpable.The storytelling through out this set was simply nothing sort of magic and I'm very sure that this will go down as one of the true masterpieces of our times. I discovered his music when i was living in Quito, i guess he also live there i am not sure, but the interest he put in his music about the native folkloric music of south america the original instruments, the rithm and how it blends wih now days electronic sound is mesmerizing. It really gives me the sense of the South America nature, mysterious, rare, unique, breathtaking, captivating, dominant. Only who have lived in South America can understand, is a different energy i sense there, in the people in nature in the streets ... it's a unique feeling.

Wow, I don't know what's more pleasant, listening to the music he is playing or observing his face and movements as he is playing it. Quite an attractive creature. Meow.
