As a Scot who had a relative who had to shelter in place because of health conditions when COVID 19 first hit. I remember getting clear instructions on what to do to keep our relative safe from the Scottish government. Then our relative would watch Boris on the Tv and we would have to explain to them why they had to shelter in place. I was talking to a family member who is a nurse in Wales and what they told me about the Westminster government is not surprising. She told us when Swine flu was predicted to sweep the world a pandemic protocol was put in place. When then pandemic didn't hit the protocol was shelved and cuts to the NHS continued against what medical professionals were saying and then COVID19 hit.

Generally a fan of PoliticsJoe and believe they have good takes when it comes to Britain wide politics but quite disappointed to see them suddenly becoming the BBC when it comes to mis-reporting, sensationalising and mis-representing Scottish Politics

I have to agree with many of these comments I'm a politics Joe viewer and subscriber I do usually rate their content I am Scottish I do vote for the SNP At no point during this inquiry was NS rinsed by the line of questioning, she appears as usual very logical, very honest and for the most part calm throughout. Why are they now jumping on the telegraph and Scottish sun bandwagon of trying to make the Scottish government or our politicians look like the bad guys. When the level of professionalism, ethics and standards are far higher than in Westminster. Politics Joe do better we need some fair representation in the media guys.....

She did the best job she could do with the restraints from Westminster, who were the ones who lied to us and partied while we were in lockdown and trying to keep ourselves and loved ones healthy. Fantastic First Minister and at last someone who was open and honest with her evidence

I was in an NHS meeting on Friday 13th March at St. Andrew's House in Edinburgh - I don't think anyone could truly comprehend the enormity of the challenges that lay ahead. The pandemic has had a huge impact on me and my work, at times feeling like I'm still in 2020. Our politicians were in panic mode, some not fit for office, some not open about what they were doing. The use of WhatsApp - where I work we locked down and did not permit the use of the app at all, the same approach was implemented for Zoom too. As for message deletion, our messages are deleted on a weekly basis, that's a system setting for security that runs to this date.

Anyone else lament the day the perfectly reasonable phrase "WhatsApp Messages" became "WhatsApps"? Perhaps it's just me.

I think we all wished she wasn't First Minister during the pandemic.
