What was clear from the event is how little credibility minister has. Several attendees openly scoffed at her claims. Given the type of audience that says a great deal. 🤔 Answer starting at 02:28 is a prime example. Willis also said “I want to put on the record my thanks and appreciation to the many public servants who’ve made this savings work possible.” Like those who were sacked? Further, they're not savings they're cuts!
Would that Pledge take in the 3 Parties in the Collation Government when there is a overspent such as Your Leader Chris Luxon spent of $57k on his Beehive office ??? interesting no numbers is this really the portfolio for Nicola Willis
@@dan8317 With your answer have you read through Parliamentary Service Act 2000?? If not, suggested reading which is the Legal requirements of Parliamentary Services giving clarification under the different sections of the Act to the degrees of the power of The Parliamentary services
@@AiriniSamuels 1 news in their bulletin literally said that Parliamentary Services told them Luxon didn't direct them to spend the money and they do it according to a pre-defined schedule irrespective of who the PM is. Ever wondered why the media aren't still talking about it? Because it's already been proven it wasn't Luxon making the call
@@dan8317 Every wondered when Jacinda Ardern got support from Coalition partners as well as opposition National party to get MPs' salaries and allowances frozen to tackle rich-poor divide which was through Parliamentary Services how that was possible???. Was the right thing to do at that time. Now we have Luxon National party PM $57,000 for his beehive office comment (we doing everything we can to make sure that we're getting good value for taxpayers and we not treating them like a ATM machine, Was that the right thing to do at this time???
Almost every Kiwi household will benefit from tax relief, Finance Minister promises… so we’ve gone from ‘every kiwi household’ pre-election, to ‘almost every kiwi household’ now. Who’s missing out.. the very wealthy or the very poor? 'The Government is "really concerned" about New Zealand's housing challenge said Minister Nicola Willis... If only there was a bipartisan housing policy that she could have continued to support to build more houses.
New Zealand For a country of only 5 million citizens Willis is a terrible Coalition Govt finance minister...She is fiscally irresponsible giving tax relief to keep her job.. by cutting jobs from public services, health, education, transport, social services, environmental, and more 3,570 people are affected..
@@dan8317fiscally irresponsible is makings poor financial decisions and failing to manage money effectively. Taking from the poor to give tax relief to the wealthy...(landlords) for e.g.
I don’t think many realise the brain surgery that’s required to fix the situation we’re in. I really appreciate her for calmly making some really tough decisions. She knows she isn’t going to be loved for them, but still stays strong and does it.
