A huge missed opportunity in not having Grant Gustin's Flash make a cameo especially as Ezra Miller already appeared in one scene with him on the CW show a few years earlier. Such a shame as it could have brought everything full circle

The Jay Garrick in George Reeves Superman universe implies that DCEU Barry isn’t the only one messing around with the chronobowl. So they could’ve easily had Grants Barry running through his own chronobowl in the CW universe.

Warner Bros. is bankrupt and technically costs $1B. Disney, Universal, Netflix, or even Sony (whom ironically can be bought by Disney) can buy them. They just won’t give into what anyone wants. Paramount tried to buy them two months ago, but Warner Bros. would only settle for a MERGER!

Yes, and no. In the CWEU, his version was shifted to become the Kingdom Come version of Superman. There were enough direct references to infer his CW appearance linked to his movie.

I definitely would've loved the Worlds Collide scene if the CGI was better and had used living actors as the cameos like Brandon Routh Superman or CW Flash. I do love the music and The Superman Lives reference though.

It amazes me how the director tried to excuse the abominable CGI in this movie…You can maybe excuse the time bowl, but you can’t excuse the PS2 Nick Cage and Christopher Reeves…Even Barry himself looks CGI, it was just a complete mess.

One of the Reasons the Actors went on Strike last year. WB didn't tell Christopher Reeves Family of what's happening and Nicolas Cage wasn't even involve at all. Also no Grant Gustin? You had Ezra Miller made a Cameo on his show part of Crisis on Infinite Earths and they chose this movie over the Batgirl Movie?

Nicolas Cage was involved, but rather than only use just his scene, which was the scene of him standing while the camera moves away from him after alternate Barry dies, they decided to extend the scene. Regarding Ezra, the director said he wanted to have not only him, but also Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, Marlon Brando as Jor-El (who can be briefly seen in Reeve's sphere) and I don't remember if had mentioned another one, but he cut those because in his words it would've made the scene longer. Regarding Reeve's children, they say they haven't watched the movie, not that WB spoke to them. Don't forget they also closed a deal with WB regarding the Reeve's documentary.

In a sequence that sounds cool on paper, this was a misfire but I'd be lying if I wasn't excited seeing Cage as Superman. That is one of those moments where I want to see that full movie. The rest is highly hollow and stupid. I don't want a CGI Christopher Reeves. RIP.

Henry was barely utilized in the most minimal ways possible, basically a cameo early on where he's entirely offscreen from a distance and the weird CG-double cameo in one of the time travel moments. He was about as vivid as Adam West's Batman.

Flashpoint has so much potential as a story. I’m a casual comic book reader and have loved everything flashpoint. I know this isn’t supposed to be a direct adaptation but still seeing the core story be done so dirty. I’d rather just remember the animated movie. It’s…….an imaginative scene to say the least and I do think it’s kind of neat Superman Lives with the Giant spider and everything finally made it to the silver screen in a way. I just honestly felt mostly nothing watching this for the first time and I’m usually ecstatic when Adam West’s Batman appears/is referenced and I like Christopher Reeves’ Superman well enough that I should have been happy about that.

The dark entity appears at the cronobowl and reveals himself as future Barry, who have lost his sanity in a attempt to save Kara and Bruce several times, destroying the fabric of the multiverse in the process. Dark Flash tries to convince Original Barry by keeping their mother alive, but Barry refuses to listen, Dark Flash tries to kill him but Barry 2 intervenes and he's been fatally stabbed, erasing Dark Flash from existence.

Personally I liked the movie but during the delayed due to Ezra’s controversies WB should’ve put more work on the VFX rather than hiring George Clooney to fill in the final scene. And for the love of god stop adapting Flashpoint storyline, it was done with the animated movie and CW show beautifully. Adapting for “used to be” the first Flash movie was a f*ing mistake

Ummm... Hasn't anyone noticed that at minute 4:00 when the camera pans away from Nicolas Cage above him there is an image of him fighting a large humanoid monster? Has his version of Superman already fought and defeated a Doomsday?

I preyed and wished for years since I was 8 years old to see Nic Cage Superman on the big screen and 25 years later worth the wait as it was released in cinemas in UK on my birthday June 14th nothing will ever fucking top this fanservice in regards of my own fandom my mum and me saw it as we share same birthday and what a great day out of all superhero themed greatness PERFECTION!!!!!!! Haters fight me if you dare!!

I really loved seeing these cameos, but the annoying and disappointing part about this was the cgi was bad, and primarily, that grant gustin didnt show up in here.

This scene is totally pointless. As a movie named The Flash, instead of having grant gustin' s flash as cameo, they would rather have cg superman as cameo, what a joke.

Unpopular Opinion: Really wished they would've included Dean Cain's Superman. Nic Cage's Superman didn't even get a movie release and still got a cameo, versus a successful tv series.
