Holy cow. I use crow tip pens a LOT, but I have to admit I don't know how to use them so loosely and fluidly. Every mark I make has to be deliberate or I end up with a puddle or splatter. How do you control your ink flow while makimg such natural, fluid lines?

European crow-quill type nibs are harder to manage. I assume you mean mapping nibs. They are too soft and rust easy; not to mention impossible to clean. Try a soft Maru. Those are much better.
