Thank you for enlightening my on Nicolaus of Cusa. The implicative/explicative order and the enfolding/unfolding divinity reminds me of Goethe's vision of nature. She created us that she might know herself fully through us (I am paraphrasing).

also Cusa's visio intelctuallis is at the heart of the philosophy of Fichte, Schelling and also Novalis. Is this a subject you know much about?
