I appreciate that someone acknowledged that this is going on at the conventions. I recently went to my very first Wentworth convention in early 2023 after the show got me through a really hard point in my life. There was a lot of negative energy at the convention I attended from fans and even some staff and it kind of ruined the event for me and a few other first timers I talked to unfortunately. However, the show and the actors'/actresses will always have a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, this behavior is still going on behind the scenes from some fans but maybe in the future I can try attending a convention again in hopes that those negative people won't be there. ❤
As a person who has been bullied most of my life, the biggest obstacle in stamping out bullying is that we assume the bully knows they are a bully. They often think they are clever and funny and not at all bullying, but rather other people simply don't have a sense of humour. We don't all see things the same way.
Nicole is one talented actress love her personality as Franky on Wentworth she is the best miss her want her back she makes that character worth watching the funny mischievous loyal caring and yet so vulnerable breaks your heart
Greetings from The US! Thank you for spreading this message. As an educator, I try to instill all of this into my students. It’s nice to see others spreading the same views and advice. Keep doing you! (Can’t wait time see what this season brings!) Peace, friend.
Sorry to hear about the bullying of people in the Wentworth Fandom..... Shame there is always one that has to ruin it for everyone but hopefully they get reported enough they are banned as well as blocked :)
The character you played was incredibly identifiable. It really is impossible to prove innocence from inside. Although in the US were "innocent until proven guilty" once those colors are on ya everyone thinks you're a criminal.
