It's really sad that people could consider this performance "boring" because there wasn't a whole lot of action and lights and colours. Does it really take all those to make you appreciate an amazing voice? I'd rather an absolutely stunning vocal with simple staging over an artist who clutters the stage with nonsense to cover up the fact that they can't sing. Nicole Scherzinger is truly amazing and should be appreciated for who she is!
Actually the performance was supposed to be with more lights and extravagance but they had problems backstages so nothing went like it supposed to be but she carried on gracefully, true artist

She has never lip synced one time to my knowledge. And she doesn't have to. She has the most powerful voice right now. And she's still underrated 😭 I don't understand how ppl don't see her talent. It's a shame. I feel she'll get popular real quick.

I remember being captivated by this performance of hers..Not only is her voice stunning, but her face expressions told a million stories.. And her tone sounded like how I imagine a broken heart to sound like if a heart could talk. Well that was deep, i'm gonna try and find the happier side of youtube again before I go poetic again orz;
I will always remember watching this performance for the first time - I was completely captivated by it. Nicole’s voice is stunning & this song never fails to bring a tear to my eye. Such an underrated artist and one of few with a true talent & the ability to sound better live than on the recording itself.

I think a good sign someone is an amazing singer, is when they move you to tears. Very rarely a singer can bring me to tears like now, i think it's because very rarely, one comes across a true singer
I keep listening to this... I think as a "pop" star she doesn't get enough credit... Heard her West end phantom of the opera... She is an all round fantastic singer! I adore this lady... Beyonce eat your heart out.. You could never do what Nicole does! 💙
she is really the voice.... such a voice. their are not a lot of artists, which sound live much better than in Studio. she is one of this artists. but is also depends on, she Acts great in the live Version. so emotional
America has terrible taste in music. They like the eye-candy, the shallow and superficial. Even Beyonce has to resort to that type of music in spite of having a huge vocal talent (if you ever doubt that, listen to Love On Top). Nicole also carries the stigma of being an ex-PCD and for the most part, members of singing groups do not get to enjoy solo success. She should hire a better marketing team and promote heavily with music that's current and commercial, but I think she's beyond that at this point. It's their loss.
I do not speak for All Americans but I prefer to listen to the words of a song. I dont listen to just music and vocal pitches. I prefer music that I can relate to. I first came across this song on the Graham Norton show, she performed, It was actually not too long ago, maybe half an hour. Though from this song alone, I've felt more emotion when listening than to pretty much 90% of what I've heard on the radio. The problem with her success in the U.S.A is that most people are brain dead and think the music is all that matters. Proof of which, Mumble rap is popular. Mumble rap is just that, people mumbling words to music. It's not even actual rap or even music, but thats pretty much the problem with the fan base in the U.S.A.
