Grandfather’s heirloom hands down best piece of the collection. The beauty of a naturally faded dial is impossible to reproduce artificially. Even if it was semi-possible, it wouldn’t age beautifully.

I have a g-steel 400 series and the way they managed to incorporate the ethos and look of a G-Shock and still manage to make it feel and shine like a luxury watch. I f'ing love it. Nice to know my watch has been derived from such a juggernaut in the watch industry.

Give younger generations more credit. I know a bunch of guys who love the vintage realm of watches and always connect the stories to their pieces

Did anyone see that nasty dent on the AP piece unique dial? 26:21 just above the left subdial. Makes me think, how on earth did AP deem this acceptable to leave the factory?? How does that happen? Did a watchmaker drop a tool and hope no one would see?

Hamilton does a great job of heritage while marketing new products. They are in all sorts of movies and TV shows- just yesterday I saw them in Jack Ryan. The Khaki line is the classic field watch. This makes them both retro and relevant. Also they are made well, Swiss movements, and still affordable. I personally wear Hamilton because I identify with what they do.

The best thing about Nico is that he's not afraid to speak his mind and tell you exactly what he thinks. This attitude is what is needed in this day and age. Everyone is used to enabling people and sugarcoating facts that need to be spit out directly.
