It is the summer of 2018 when I went to see my fellow Dutch man Nieky "The Natural" Holzken, a 7 time world champion in kick boxing. At the time he lost his last couple of fights at Glory, Nieky thought he would move to boxing and that the book on kick boxing would stay closed. Things turned out differently. Because of his upcoming fight on the 17th of May 2019, I re-posted this video interview, now with English subtitles, to show all the international fans how a champion's life can change rapidly. When Nieky in 2018 thought his future would be in boxing, ONE Fighting Championship pulled him back into kick boxing… And as it looks now, it won’t be long he will put another championship belt around his waste!
