There are those in the world who wish to never suffer, never feel sorrow or pain. Such people, in my humble opinion, are foolish. Not only is such a thing unobtainable, it is a detriment to who we are; human beings. You may be at peace and still know pain. One's suffering is seldom meaningless. The unnecessary suffering comes when we visit upon one another our sufferings; forcing the pain that we feel onto others to feel some semblance of relief. It is this suffering that should really be stripped from our lives. But, usually, our sufferings have purpose. We are molded by pain, tribulation and sorrow. Forged in a furnace of rupturing emotions. Though the flames that envelop us burn through our hearts and cause us pain sometimes unimaginable, it is entirely necessary to feel these things; for without these feelings, these hardships and sorrows, we would not experience the beauty of our complete form as a human being. We would be husks without this pain. Emotionless shells, easily swayed into wickedness. With this outlook, suffering in some way ceases to be suffering the moment it finds meaning; such is the meaning of sacrifice. I go through life at ease, at peace. I am completely content. Yet, I still feel pain. My grandfather, whom I am very close with, is dying of liver cancer. When I heard this news, I weeped and mourned on that single day and on that day alone. The next day, I continued on in life, content, stronger. Because I need to be stronger now for those I love. He wants to rest, he is tired. He wants to go home. And so, when he passes, why weep? It is his wish, he has forgone treatment. After I experience loss, I will become stronger in several ways. "The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths; found peace in it all. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen." This is what it means to be both tragically and beautifully human. Keep doing what you do. You do a good deed each time you make someone feel. :)

for me its not just the melody that makes me feel emotional but the story that coincides with the music that impacts me even more... Nier had themes of death and acceptance and commentaries on human nature and the existence of living through 'false memories'. It brings up the controversial question; is it okay to live a life that is disillusioned and living that life to the fullest even if it is perceived as wrong without even realizing that it was wrong? The answer is ultimately up to you but I perceived it as yes, the new ending E changed my opinion on the story entirely.
